This week against the Dees will see Kitch play his 150th and the last home game for Dela before retirement so even if you haven't been to a game this year, try to make it to this one.

A good turnout would be a fitting result for these two champions of the club.

Bit of topic but Port delisted Taj Schofield yesterday. They believe he's to light to play AFL atm.Like Sam Menagola they suggested he returns to Subiaco for a few seasons,to get redrafted.
All the best to Kitch on his 150th.

Cheers mate. I didn't see that. He's a good kid and did show some promise in colts a couple of years ago so he'd be very welcome back at Subi.

With his old man and family based back in Perth with WC, he'll definitely head back and should be a shoe-in for Subi. Had a couple of years in the AFL system so should be WAFL ready as a quick mid/forward. That being said I expected Ainsworth would have come back to us, not get poached by Perth so lets wait and see.

Yes will be there rain hail or shine to celebrate both of these great players and clubmen. Not sure where it will be played yet, they are saying Leederville which would be great for the payers and the club, but from a surface POV would be reckless. Wouldn't even mind if it was at WC stadium, closer than Moss Street for me.

Yes that's a possibility but Taj grew up at the club, he was that little bloke in the lions suit that used to run out with the team at the start of the game. Plus I'm hoping Taj has more self respect than to waste his time at WCER. he would have a much better chance of being re drafted if at Subi who have a great record with that sort of thing and mature age players.

Wouldn't surprise me if WCE invite Schofield for a train on over the preseason and nab him last minute like they did with Tom Joyce, who was a talented youngster with a few years of being on Brisbane's list for zero games, due to injury. Can't see Joyce staying on WCE list after injuries curtailed his footy again..... thus Schofield might be his replacement.

A couple of changes but no big moves although I think Morgan is a bit stiff to get dropped as he wasn't the worst out there last week.  Subi by 14 points.

A memorable and enjoyable day in the members. Dela and kitch had days out. Nice to see the rooms packed for the farewell. The president was hilarious.

We cannot sack the coach. Too nice a guy. Just can't happen. Deserves surgery year or two.

A few signs from Eaton today. Savigni continues to impress. Older hickmont ferocious.

I liked the way Perth went about it. Tried to move the ball around. A bit of youth and pace around . No one up forward though. No 26 not bad in defence.

Gus showed the value of pace up front. Materas both added a bit. Younger one justified his recall in my opinion.
In the reserves, Hill for Perth looks a talent. Breman kicked six. None of which I saw. But a good sign.
