Refresh my memory was Wardman the coach for the 2019 flag?  If that is the case he is a double premiership coach as well as leading Subiaco to their first colts premiership for many years. So. just because Subiaco have fallen away this year, some people here reckon he  should be replaced??   He is signed till the end of 2024 anyway but surely Wardman has earned enough brownie points to rebuild the team, especially given that there have been a lot of COVID , retirements and injury issues for the club this year? 

I think Wardmans safe, he's not don too much wrong and as you say our season was almost over before it began with around 30 out with Covid and injuries. hard to recover from that. If we have a full list of fit players and have some level of continuity along with a few key recruits, we should be back in the mix for a finals spot

If the club were to look for a new coach, then I imagine Horse would be near the top of the list, but we must remember, he would be a rookie coach with no previous experience, but he is a natural leader of men.

Absolutely SS Horse would be a perfect choice.
Maybe you are right Mike but there were plenty on here who said ronald mcdonald could have coached Subi to a flag in 2019. Plus Horse was kind of captain coach that year. Last year we were lucky South had so many out and 2020 and this year we were/are poor

I like the way Wardman is a strategy kind of coach. Schoey was more compelling that's true. But kind of scary at times. It's good to have a change in style.  Wardman will need a better year next year. But 3 premierships says he's not an impediment to success and likely  a good organiser. The players seem reasonably tight and the reserves guys seem on board too.  Some of our players ran out of hunger this year, but that's fair enough. 

 

Some of you Subi supporters need to stop panicking and take a chill pill.  You’ve had an anus horribilus year and are spitting the dummy like a spoiled brat.  Perhaps you could talk to Perth, Sharks and Swans supporters who have waited all those years for a finals berth, let alone a flag.  Everyone knows you have the wherewithal to get back to the top.  A couple of years out of the 5 won’t kill the club.
