Seems our western suburbs friends are suffering what we are going through with Covid, may have up to 20 players unavailable, but they are now pleading with the WAFC to postpone the fixture!! We had 23 player unavailable, still managed to field 3 teams on the day. They need to grow a pair and just get on with it, like Subi did. Things get tough so they immediately put up the white flag, soft as shite.

OK, I'll tone things down a bit, as my info was a bit off the mark so apologies for that. Just read the story in the West online saying they are looking at up to 14 changes for Saturday's game, so a bit similar to us v SF, they will be missing key senior players such as Bolton and Rogers, again similar to us. We may get a few back, Lockyer sounds like a certain return as well as Chad Harris. Given the outs for both teams it keeps it a level playing field, with plenty of good youngsters from both camps getting an opportunity to show what they've got.

Again apologies to those Mont's people for my earlier rant.

And this being the SportFM broadcast match of the day from the oval at Claremont. The weather around all the grounds on the weekend is looking good. 27 degrees forecasted for Saturday and a degree or two warmer for Sunday. Get out to the grounds peops before the rain sets in next week.

i wouldn't call it  a bit similar to what you had in round one.i think you had  more senior players out there in round one where apart from lim i can't see anyone who is a senior player. mentioned in the budget.i suspect lim will be captain.

I think you've got the Tigers covered with all their outs BC. Will be interesting to see how all the young guys on both teams go, particularly young Mainwairing

While losing Gus is big we get Locks back so that evens things up down back. The Hickmonts will give us run and some more clearance power to help Kitch & Giro, plus looking forward to seeing what Snadden can provide. Putt is out, he was pretty average last week so I assume Eaton will be the support for Dela. 21yo from Trinity Aquinas 195cm and 86kegs, slightly taller but lighter than Dela, good opportunity for the lad.
This week I guess we go in slight favourites given Claremont are in a similar position to us last week losing top shelf players in Rogers, Bolton, Mountford and O'Conner to name a few.

SS...I saw Eaton in a scratchy against Perth I think it was and thought he was pretty good and certainly worth persevering with. I'm glad he's been given another crack at it as he's a good size up forward as you say.

Subi were absolute crap. Played well in the 1st quarter then thought it would just happen. Backline in complete disarray.
