Spot on S4F, an apt description for how we played the second half, but cant take anything away from how well EF played and how well they were coached on the day, they just cut us right out of the contest.

Interesting getting it through an independent observer S4tf. It appeared to me that we were torched through the midfield but that's not borne out by the stats with similar disposals and inside 50s. Scoring shots were decidedly in EF favour so I guess they were more efficient when they went into their front half. Where did you think they won it S4tf?

Probably the wake up call Subiaco need. Better now than in a final

For God's sake, this doesn't need a forensic analysis. You lost your best players. When they come back, you will win again.

Gee Ted thanks for your insightful contribution, yes we were missing players but so were EF. What needs analysis is why after leading by 4 goals and looking relatively comfortable, we stopped doing what was working and changed our game plan in the second half.

All up, fairly un-Subi like.  I must admit though, happy that one of their rare bad ones was against us.

58...focus on this thread by Subi supporters has been on our performance as it should...that's why we're on here but at the same time credit should be given where it's due and your boys were very good. I'm not sure why a performance like that from the Sharks came out this week and not others but that's something you guys can dissect on the EF thread as your team were just terrific.

OK, SS, how's this analysis? Wardman inherited the keys to a Rolls Royce - a self-driving one at that. Injuries hit in the shortened 2020 season, and Subi wrote that year off. Things have returned to normal (though not as dominant as before) in 2021. Wardman is so accustomed to Subi's cohort of elite players stepping up when required that he has no Plan B. No way of slowing the game down, stopping a run on, tagging, putting a player behind the ball... Is that plausible?

Considering Subi over ran a much better side in Cl the week before at the death. Would of thought at 3/4 time Wardman would of been quietly confident Subi could lift again and pip EF at the death....just not to be....EF somehow constructed back to back quarters of dominance....first time they have done this all year and for many years v Subi....why would Wardman need a plan B v the likes of EF.....regardless of no Kitchin or Clark in the middle....still had De La and Sokol to get the job done.

Out of interest who kept Sokol down to one goal?....Tucker or Meade?
