Thought it was a great day at the Wafl. I know I'm being a bit positive for the liking of some, but some fantastic footy. Crowd was solid. People buzzing with the Eagles sightings. Autograph hunters selfie hunters out.

Eagles boys came back to the club which added to the atmosphere.
shuey was the difference.  he played a lot of the game and took winning seriously. Class above.  Vardy and Williams were hard to beat, though Della and putt battled away.

Best game for major matera, though his kicking was awful. Minor matera passed the footy beautifully.  Sokol played well. Martin showed a lot of promise. Dewar, ie Gus , won best for us. Thought Wardman coached well. He speaks well.

Sainsbury took a great mark. Subi fluffed their lines a bit, under the pressure of playing AFL players. Next time I think they'll be cooler. Hopefully coming out of defence.a few panicked kicks cost us the game.

Hey Johnny, I owe you an apology. it was a danger game. Sounded like Shuey played a blinder.

Well...what do you say after losing to the bottom side who had been smashed in previous weeks? Congrats to them I guess. They played very well and the inclusions made a big difference. They also stretched us for height with Dela battling all day against Vardy, Williams and co. Sokol good, Kitch tried very hard, our backs were solid but we lost it through the middle. Shuey, Hutchins, Ainsworth and so on were the difference and killed us in the clearances. We had our chances but were blown away in the third which was too big a hill to climb in the last. .

you unfortunately got them at the wrong time.it is never how many eagles players in the side rather the quality of them.having shuey playing was pure class

So are the Eagles still whinging and demanding concessions? Apparently the league team will get Sheppard, McGovern and Kelly back next week. They will lose Shuey but gain 3 others, probably guys like Foley, Edwards, Rotham. Petrucelle and Duggan are close as well. They are going to win more than they lose in the back half of the season.

Yep if we got them when we were meant to our % would be huge now. Shuey was always gonna be the difference, captain of a top 8 afl side, the best player in the afl imo and who has played afl this year. He would have gone straight back in if they were playing this weekend. Chuck Dusty Martin in any WAFL team and they would get the win, same same. All this bs talk about him playing limited time, dreaming, as I knew. Karma to us some might say, well fk them they still only managed to scrape in by the skin of their ball sacks after at 4 goal lead at 3/4 time. Can't wait to meet them again in a few weeks without Luke Shuey

I thought Shuey was pretty good but he wasn't a match winner imo. I thought Hutchings did more damage along with Vardy, Bailey Williams, Ainsworth, Witherden and Brander. The only problem is that they'll lose Shuey but get back a few more in the WAFL as the first choice Eagles come into the AFL side from injury.

Everything Shuey did was class, plus the mental aspect of the other guys having their skipper out there for a one off. I don't think they would have won without him mate

Yes I was a bit surprised Wardman didn't put a hard tag on Shuey or Hutchings or both but in particular Shuey. Greg Clark went to him for a bit at the centre restarts as did Kitch but neither tracked him all day. Beverley was missing yesterday which was a shame as he did a terrific job on Jye Bolton a few weeks ago and could have done the same yesterday.

Unbelievably strange but not sure they would have much of an effect anyway. Good and bad things like this, great for the punters to see such caliber out there but are they taking the piss as usual??
