Good to see Max named on an extended bench.  Whether he suits up or not is another matter but at least he's considered available.  No Borchet which is a bit of a worry which means his ankle is still not right.

Interesting game this one, given WCER will have around a dozen listed players this week including Schoey and Brayshaw, so will be a stronger team than when we were originally fixtured to play them which I think is a good thing given our last game was virtually a training run against a Perth team ravaged by injuries. Both Schoey and Brashaw would be on managed minutes but both, particularly Schoey are elite mids and will really put the heat on our mids. Maxy is listed but would be surprised if he plays, a run in the lead up scratchy would do him the world of good, make him even hungrier for what promises to be a good game v Swans the following week.

It should be a percentage builder for Subi.

They'll probably run Jack Beverley with Shuey which will be a big learning curve for him although as you say, Shuey will be on managed minutes.

SS - Brayshaw? Why do you mention his name alongside Shuey?

Yep..it reminds me of Matty Bogensberger a few years ago under Schoey. He was getting it 30+ times a week in the ressie's and hardly got a decent crack in the league.

La Hincha have you actually watch the reserves games? Perhaps Menegolas 14 possies have been far more influential than Goldings 20 possies?

I guess we'll never know until they give him a go. We need some extra midfield depth to counter SF, Cl, WP and Perth after losing Horse and Benny Newton. Menegola isn't in our first 22 under normal circumstances so let's try someone new.

What are your views on Brayden Ainsworth LH? You would have seen a fair bit of him at colts level and it doesn't look like he's in WCE best 26 or so at senior level. I could be wrong but think he's still rookie listed after 3 years which means they have to elevate him to the senior list or delist him. He'd be handy back at Subi next year.
