The thing is with the talls you mentioned, Mayo to a lesser extent as he's a big unit, are all very mobile so lose little when the footy is on the ground, fitting them in is a nice headache to have come finals time if all are available. Heal always looks better down back for mine, has done a job up forward because he is such a good player but better value down back. Putt continues to evolve as a young ruckman allowing Dela more freedom to do what he does, he could easily have gone to the next level as a tall wingman, in the Mathew Richardson mould, he has a massive tank but now at 30+ has missed the boat.
Thursday night v The D's will be a ripper, from what the Perth boys say on their thread they used a number of hard tags on the Joondy mids so expect the same on Kitch, Clark, Marsh and probably Dela, not sure if they have anyone of size who could tag him, but should be a good contest as the D's are up and about at the moment. Fingers crossed for a fine night, may have to break out the thermals!!

I wish Bailey would start hitting the scoreboard a bit. Brandon already has more goals in the season after one game. And he has one...
That's the thing Frothy...he's still getting plenty of the footy just not hitting the scoreboard as you say.  He's almost playing like a mid but yes, agree if he wants to keep his place at the pointy end of the season, he needs to start kicking goals as a small forward.

Also missing Jacob Atkinson, a versatile big man who can pinch-hit in the ruck and is equally at home fwd or back and Lewis Upton who is now finding his feet and played his best game imo vs tiges (15d 8m 6t 3i50) and has been injured since then

Kitchen had ice on his hammy at end of game.

Hard to make an impact on finals if you haven't played much of the season. Injured need to get on the park by July or just prepare for next year.

Mid season draft might shake things up.

Yes I think Bailey does chase his possessions up the ground and does an ok job at that
