winger--that is true: I think WP will be more than a danger to every team it meets in the finals, although coming from fourth instead of the double chance; been done before too, as you know --76, 79, sd and PeelA. Good luck

Nah mate....my daughter's wedding yesterday so watched it all unfold on the WAFL app. It appears we didn't turn up for the first 3 qtrs but showed a bit in the last. No excuses as we were only missing Lockyer with Marsh playing ressies so beaten by a better team on the day. It's going to be a bit odd not playing finals but will be good for the comp. I think if we get a SF v WP grand final or something similar the WAFC are going to rue abandoning the state's premier footy stadium in lieu of a concrete jungle with only 12,000 in attendance. Good luck to all remaining sides anyway as it should be a very interesting finals series with Perth knocking off SF yesterday. From a Subi perspective, I hope that the likes of Horse, Kitch, Dela all go around again next year as it was a strange season and I'd hate to see them go out this way.

Hope everything went well for your daughter and groom yesterday BC, it was a perfect day weather wise although probably she would have been disappointed with the score from Joondy.
As you said its been a very strange season and I'm sure Subiaco will bounce back strongly given that we get a full 20 rounds in 2021.

Thanks for your kind wishes Mike. Yes it was a terrific day with the ceremony and reception at the Flour Factory in Queen Street in the CBD. A fabulous venue and it went very well. I didn't have the heart to tell my daughter the footy result until later in the evening as she was on a high and I didn't want to spoil it for her. In saying that we've had a bloody good run so it's not a bad thing to give other teams in particular Perth a crack. I'd love to see SD and EF in the mix as well some time soon but reckon you've got a bit to do to catch up to the top sides. Hopefully this season's disappointment will make our boys very hungry next year. The good thing is that Subi has a good crop of youngsters coming through in Atkinson, Braut, Stainsby, Hickmott brothers, Beverley, Reid, Martin to name a few so reckon we'll be ok.

BC glad to hear the wedding went off well, best wishes to the happy couple.

Had family stuff booked so didn't make the trek to South gero .... fortunately in the end.
So frustrating watching the app as we scored point after point after point while they converted so well from half as many inside 50's especially in the first half. They broke us with a big 3rd qtr and must have taken the foot off in the last a bit, very similar to the EF game, 3 shocking qtrs and 1 decent one. Well done to WP, I do admire their playing group they are always committed and play hard for the jumper.

I said before that the loss to EP would come back to haunt us and it did, it cost us a finals spot.

At least we struck a very minor blow to Joondy by coming back in the last to knock off the milliburp of a percentage to keep them out of the double chance.

Looking forward to a real 18 game season next year with a full list available. Lot of talk about the end of our era, lets revisit that at the end of next season. Dela & Kitch both have said they would commit to the end of '21, Horse said this year would be it but that was before Covid, so hopefully he's got one more season in him.

Disappointing year, was really hoping Braut and Borchet were going to have standout years but only played a handful between them. People been a bit unfair on the coach given the number out for most of the shortened season...played our best footy in the pre season. Is he contracted this next year? , some say Horsely a potential future coach. Like to see a return of the playing coach. Anyone remember our last playing coach?

Was it Brian Douge?
I recall Schoey playing some reserves when he started coaching
