This week is going to be interesting as East Freo have been very unlucky against some top sides in the last few weeks. I thought we got back to some semblance of form against Perth but have to keep the momentum going if we're to get over EF. It's a shame the BUPA injury report on the WAFC website doesn't get updated as it would be nice to know who is on the verge of coming back. It's that far off reality I'm sure it listed Peter Featherby as a test this week after getting leather poisoning. B) Hopefully Marsh and Kennedy will both come back in but not sure about Litherland. Matera must be on thin ice after another quiet game last weekend and not sure Clinch is at league level just yet. Bremen and Hichmott should both get another crack this week as the pair showed a bit against Perth....especially Hickmott who got plenty of it through the middle.

My thought exactly regarding EF, they just need to learn how to win, they have stumbled at the last post against teams who know how to win.

Kennedy was a last minute one during the warm up in the changerooms he slipped and bruised a hip badly enough to be replaced but should be right for saturday, Marsh was a hammy so he's had plenty of time to recover from a standard hammy unless it's something worse, dont expect anyone else as it seems Borchet, Gus and Locks are done for the season.

EF have some good talls and we can expect Griffin to domunate the taps but Dela should have his measure around the ground. Horse has another week to get the groin injury totally right, i dont think he was 100% as he didn't have a go at a couple of goals from 50+ as he normally would, rather went for passes. Fine weather forecast so should be a good game.

Looking forward to a good game here

The team has almost had the goods - then we shoot ourselves in the foot..
As was said here - "we just need to learn how to WIN"

I have to say that the supporters are very pleased with whats been shown on the field the past 2 weeks and there certainly is a wisp of optimism creeping in enough to create an itch of excitement
Lets see if we get to scratch that itch this week :cheer:

It would be nice to be able to see some stats from the reserves also, to get an idea of form. Apparently that doesn’t matter due to Covid19...

Think EF are due for a blow out....pushed 3 potential finalists last 3 games....good to push another....but it is Subi after all....not the same Subi....but still Subi....

I'm hoping Bonomeli gets a game FIN as I coached him at Melville juniors along with the Sorrell boys, Leon Pearton, Cam Zurhaar currently at North Melbourne plus a few others who went onto EF after juniors and I like to keep track to see how they're all progressing.

I agree - it would be a treat to see a player you helped in his formative years hit his straps on the field.

EF have had a good track record of AFL additions - watching the young turn to men and then see dreams realised is amazing - I would like to see so many more from the WAFL be given that opportunity - sadly though we are at times running against the VFL/AFL juggernaut.

But that aside I know there are several EF players who get along really well with the Subi Boys. On the game day - "white line fever" - after the game, smiles and pats of congrats ... that's what I especially like about this game of ours - respect when and where its due.

Wouldn't you think it would be false advertising if you clicked onto the "view stats" tab and it came up with no stats?
I'm with you Frothy and other posters, nothing better to see the stats for the ressies. I cannot understand why the WAFL website does it for the colts and league but NOTHING for the 2's.

Is it due to the fact that their WAFC "love child' Peel cant be bothered fielding a ressies team?

According to the BUPA injury report we might see Marsh back but the others are gone I reckon.

Ryan BORCHET Knee 1-2 Weeks
Jordan LOCKYER Knee 4-5 Weeks
Harrison MARSH Hamstring 2 Weeks
