Dear members, in particular Swan42, whilst we have a General Discussion section on Ozfooty for topics of discussion not necessarily sport or football related I do not want to see Ozfooty used as a platform for someone's political agenda and providing a running commentary.

Swan42 I have counted 15 topics you have created in the past month on interviews in the political media. This needs to stop and that goes for anyone. Whilst I encourage political discussions bombarding Ozfooty on almost a daily basis with political topics is not what this forum is about and I have noted comments by some members that are bored with the political discussions.

We have an election in our state this weekend which affects us all but please there are a couple of topics already about this. Let's not create another bunch of topics to cover the same subject.

I will be reviewing some of these recent topics and deleting or merging them as I see fit.

This is greatly appreciated Admin. Unfortunately 42 has a number of issues, but don't believe ozfooty should be the place for his rants.

Maybe you should start a new box entitled "Angry old men".

I enjoy the banter , and like the debates and start a few topics but using the site to bombard your parties agenda is not the way to go, especially when its blatant bias propaganda and virtual free adds.

Thanks members much appreciated. I have gone through the first and second pages of General Discussion and deleted 13 topics I considered a narrow view all aimed at criticising those with a different point of view. Everyone's opinion is valued but there was a pattern forming and had to intervene. Those more broad topics of discussion that have attracted many replies have been left untouched. Still hope to see you posting Swan42 but please don't use this forum to push your political allegiances.

1. The Boston Report

2. The opening and coal face match day operation of the new Footy Stadium, i.e. seeing how it actually goes.

I can't see an issue with it as plenty of others have pushed their allegences that differ from 42's. Sounds to me like debate is going to be quashed
