Not too sure what to think of this squad.....Invers goes on about how impressive Smith was making 72 v WA just recently and gets selected, whilst O'Keefe bowled well and from memory batted ok?..thus O'Keefe gets over looked for freakin Doherty....who has been picked for his one day / T20 feats.....We have been there and done that with Doherty, the fella bowls boring left arm spin, can't bat, is an ok fielder....is Doherty gonna be on the Ashes radar, if he is, the English boys will be licking their lips...

Geez I would of even gone total left field and picked Zampa or Agar....both kids have some ticker and honestly the Indian side is on the way down batting wise. Not to sure why both Henriques AND Maxwell were picked, both fella's seem to do a bit of everything but a lot of nothing...one or the other but both?.....waste of one airplane ticket!

Bowling wise both Siddle and Bird are tight, Pattinson for some genuine speed, Starc for some X factor and Johnson.... well he's a pretty good net bowler from all reports....Lyon needs to step up and be pro active, back himself and say I can do it...Xavier.... please prove me wrong

The batting was pretty predictable, Hughes and Khawaja potentially are Australia's next Ponting and Hussey from all reports, Cowan surely must be on his last legs, just doesn't do enough for my liking...can see Watson opening with Warner for the Ashes....lot of pressure on Clarke, Hughes will stay 1st drop, but Clarke will definitely need to be padded up when the openers go out.....

I really hope all these boys I have slated prove me wrong, England struggled to a test series win, would love to see Australia win 3 - 0, to at least give the Poms something to think about for this year....time will tell I guess

If that's the best 17 cricketers in Aus then we are in trouble.

Not a scary looking squad I guess. What about Beer - is he as good as Doherty and co? The young fellas that played the 50 over the other night looked good, but I guess there wasn't a lot to bowl against.
2x25= Seinor and Michael = 1xBrian Peake

Worst test squad in Australian cricket history since this one from 1978

Wood
Darling
Ogilvie
Serjeant
Simpson
Cosier
Rixon
Laughlin
Yardley
Thomson
Clark

Fair dinkum 3 pretend spinners who wouldn't threaten a decent U16s team. The Indians will be licking their lips at the thought of facing some of these dart throwers. This fascination with Maxwell and Steve Smith is beyond me. Maybe Warney is right? CA is run by muppets.
