Yep, I'm gutted at how easily the PERTH SCORCHERS, the WEST AUSTRALIAN team rolled over so easily. Nearly as bad as losing the Ashes to you Poms. I can hear you laughing at our loss from here. Still, we fixed up your Vic mate Warnie..eh?? Let's try a FOURTH TIME....Geelong flags...not worth a cupful of cold water coz they weren't Geelong bred??? Alas yet again WRONG 58shark,i do not barrack for either Vic, or Warnie! GFC one of the oldest afl/vfl clubs in the the 150 old HISTORY of the game. GFC a real sporting club, representing an area of Victoria. The flags we won??... sure we had other than geelong players..i'll tell ya something for nothing though mate... last 3 years we aint had one footballer in the top paid 20, cos the lads took a pay cut so they could stay together as a team....now i wonder where Gibbs or Alfonso would go if they were offered more to play BBL for another FRANCHISE?, reckon they would stay to win the KFC BIG TAKEAWAY BUCKET?? for scorched peanut butter bars??.

Ahhhh, now we're getting somewhere....the flags really don't mean anything then because Geelong has got imports. Gee Sydney will be p!$$ed..one T Kennelly is a real import . WTF has 'the boys' taking pay cuts got to do with 20/20? To get back to the point...I like 20/20, you don't. It's a new sport and it's popular and will get even more so. You like test cricket and only test cricket, so I respect that. You don't want any hybrid cricket, I respect that. The least you can do is accept that 50 over and 20/20 is a sport and will continue to prosper. I guess we could argue the point forever, but as an LCD, nuff can be nuff. Been away so I have only just caught up with the result.....can anyone tell me why Katich didn't open?....Yeah I know Katich made a duck, but the fella came in mid 17th over, surely his nous and experience would of been better from the 1st over building a decent platform with Marsh for the Scorchers to chase....

any chance Marsh getting a gig in the one day side v Sri Lanka/India.....or even Pommers?...

Marsh and Voges are in the next 20/20 side squad for the Aussies, Pommers was very close, which i cant believe! He should be there well ahead of Voges and Bailey etc..How does Bailey get a game?

Pomers needs to show he can keep his nose out of the the chaff bag for a bit longer than 4 weeks to get an Aussie gig

i wouldnt pick either of them but Marsh seems to have got a good wrap from Langer since he took over and I am sure that helped him..
