Like or dislike 20/20 cricket its still a WA team so ill always be watching them. :cheer:

Simon Reeves from WA remade its acemeic :( on TV recently, a WA "entertainment" program, but i didnt watch that either. Of course Gibbs and Alfonso, are dedicated to WA i am sure!

Bloody hell unk, don't be such a grinch! We all got the message ages ago that you don't like 20/20, but don't force your opinion on to those of us that enjoy watching it

OHH so i cant have an opinion 58?, i thought message boards were all about?? All the time ppl repeat thier love of 20/20 shyte again and again... i cant repeat me opinoion again and agian??

Unk, this isn't like you...being so precious. I can't see where I suggested you can't have an opinion? Just believe that I am able to write about the 20/20 and how I like it as a light entertainment without coping a bit of ridicule. I hate soccer and could ridicule those that like it, but for me... to each their own.

Well despite all the rolling around and antics its a SPORT thats been played the same like "forever"... dont see the comparison there 58. Still spose 20/20 caters to the LCD, cant argue that.

Don't understand your point here unk...and I suppose 'LCD' is another putdown insult?

Watching young Behrendorff in the 20/20, you'd have to be reasonably impressed with him. He has a few lapses and leaks a few runs, but hell, when he's on...he's on. He's obviously young, but could we see another Bruce Reid here? Anyone know anything about Thomas? He's too old now, but why haven't we seen him on the international scene before?

Has represented RSA in T20 only. I believe he is playing for the Scorchers as a personal favour to JL.

Scorchers into second spot with their big win over Sydney Thunder last night with 1 game to go vs Adelaide.
Behrendorff/Hoggy bowled great,Shaun Marsh leading the batting,Gibbs still hasnt hit top form yet, gets out to some average shot.

Batting worries me a bit,if Marsh/Gibbs get out early our depth seems a bit thin,North looked bit better last night though.
Its good to have a competetive WA cricket team to follow.Go Scorchers!!

Spent the past week in Adelaide. Had the pleasure of attending the BBL at Adelaide Oval last night. Splendid performance by The Scorchers in all facets.
The Adelaide media folk were talking up The Stirikers chances all week.

Must admit the Adelaide fans took the trashing in good grace. What else could they do?

Simon Katich recalling Richardson after being given out for hit wicket was a fine display of sportsmanship. The local press accepted his discision in the spirit it was offered (eventhough nobody at the ground had a clue what was going on)

The Scorchers can look forward to a good finals campaign based on last night's efforts.

Young Behrendorff really looks like a very young Bruce Reid. He's still only a boy and when he's on, he's one deadly weapon. Might leak a few, but that's his youth. I look forward to seeing him develop into the longer forms of the game. I agree with you about the batting WAFL4eva. It really is important that Gibbs and Marsh get us off to a good start. Would be good to have Mitch Marsh back...still it ain't happening.

I no 20/20 is only Hit n Giggle cricket but what i like is a WA cricket team showing some fight,ok a few imports which every team has,but the majority of the team is West Aussies.
The Shield season for the Warriors has been a disaster so far and 50/50 is no better.
I like Justin Langer showing the team what "Balls" are, dont give up keep fighting.
WA cricket has been a mess for a number of years now,but with some of the young fellas coming through,it does give me some hope that we are heading upwards.

20/20 is like AFL footy is to me..i follow it in passing, without too much detail and i dont really know who is playing for who anymore. Test and Sheild cricket is my WAFL equivalent, 50/50 cricket is somewhere in between
Beneath the Southern cross i stand, on Bassendean Oval, can in hand, Swan Districts, you Farkin Beauty!
