Love me WAFL as well dog, I'm just a bit short on team knowledge. I'm still waiting for the AFL surge to kick in, but the east eagles and peel dorks have deflated my eagernes somewhat...might change as the season gets closer. I didn't like 20/20 at first, but I must admit, it really has grown on me.

Think Mr Cricket could be handy in the next game or two.

The way my old teamate Pommers hit them tonite the Heat will give the scorchers a run for their money! He is a better blade than Kwagia, Quiney, Etc just needs to keep his head on like Shaun Marsh, hes better than him too

Pomersbach looked like he had his toe broken tonight, so he may struggle to get up for the next game. If the Scorchers win and the Heat upset the Renegades, the final will be in Perth.

The Scorchers will be at full strength in their semi whilst the Stars will be missing Malinga, Mckay and Hussey, 3 of their key players. If Mike Hussey is available it will be interesting to see who would drop out (North? bit unfair on the guy)

In the old days.. it was SPORT first Entertainement was a distant SECOND. Nowadays its Entertainemnet First and the SPORT second. Now that may sound a MINOR change, but for grass roots Sports people of just about any sport, its a huge huge change. Primarily driven by the almighty $.

It's not just sport where the almighty dollar rules nowadays. I caught a cab from the airport to the hotel I was staying at one time. On the way, the driver lectured me on how nobody helped anyone unless there was a dollar in it today. We got to the hotel and a bloke came up to the window and asked the cabbie if he would give his car a jump start. My cabbie said yes, but it would cost $10.00. The bloke said ok, so as the cabbie got out, he said to me "see what I mean"? True story! Where's the cobber helping a cobber today???

you know the scorchers are in deep trouble when a chump like Cam White starts hitting you all round the park.....Brad Hodge yes, Cam White no!....perhaps Langer will drop Behrendoff next time, keep Triffit as wickie and bowl Hussey instead.....I reckon even Triffit could of bowled better than young leftie Jase......aww sheet nice catch Herschelle!!!.....well bowled Jase!!! :cheer:
