Can only hope for a change of government , we are faced with a national emergency of incompetent government ,,, it is actually serious,

what happened to the anyone but Tony Abbott thread? this Liberal/Labour (sic) page is ridiculous. does this mean we can't have a rational debate with supporters of other parties like 42? where in the hell do the mods of this site get off deleting a thread with hundreds of posts ..none of which were offensive or in bad taste?

Agreed BC in your entire comments. I am on real Earth and you are in an alternate universe. I cannot say why I believe that due to my own self-imposed embargo during the election period.

did you watch the debate on the weekend? if so...what was your take away? I didn't but it sounds like Abbott came out marginally ahead which is a bit of a surprise.

No I didn't I was watching the slaughter of GWS by Freo. I could have watched a replay but in all honesty it would have been a waste of time.

I think what would be best would be for there to be just a moderator for control and that Rudd and Abbott should ask the questions to each other and there to be time limits as to the amount of time for each answer and for each questioner the ability to provide a rebuttal for each answer.

He was brought in out of desperation by Labor as he was regarded as a great campaigner.

From the start of this campaign he has looked flat and lack lustre, to make matter worse last night he was supposed to wipe the floor with Abbott at his much vaunted debating skills..nothing like that happened, in fact after all his hubris, Rudd had to cheat and rely on notes, and still failed to cut through.

The polls are falling back for the ALP, Rudd is losing his mantle as preffered PM, we are over a week in, if nothing changes over the next 10 days with a marked ALP move in the polls , labor are dead ducks.

Rudd's just not looking anything like the campaigner of 2007, clearly his confidence is down and its showing.
