I know this is mostly a WAFL site and thats where my heart is, I do follow both WA AFL teams with some interest mainly to see what the local draftees are doing. But to hear the disgracefull booing of Champion Jobe Watson last night just confirmed that these mostly johny come lately football supporters have no idea and also have very short memories and it tarnished what was a great game of footy. Was it not West Coast who were racked with drug aligations last decade with their own Brownlow medalist admitting to an addiction to meth? Poor old Cuzzy bro was the only one to admit to it but a number of players were on the gear, so they should look to their own house first before dealing out their pathetic misinformed opinions on a man that had the guts to discuss what his clubs medical staff administered to him in good faith, something that so far has not been deemed illegal. Only if and when such a decision is made then those who wish to can vent their collective spleens. I always assumed the presumtion of innocence was the Auastralian way

funny how its mostly dockers supporters carrying on like tools.

they have short memories about how they treated cousins, creating flags etc.

build a bridge and harden up.

He admitted to taking drugs and not a thing has been done about it byt the AFL. That unknowingly crap doesn't fly. Would you let someone inject you and not ask what it was??

Not hard to be a champion when you take peds Senior, I wouldn't be happy being a WC fan 2 goals and best on ground when he should be banned if Vlad had any balls.

Yes lets put social drugs on the same pedestal as PEDS lol, unfortunately for Jobe he gave WADA and Asada a bit of help by actually admitting to the usage of a banned substance OTC.

He should enjoy playing while he still can even with the boos as taking that particular drug is a strict liability offence meaning it doesn't matter whether he obtained an advantage, whether he thought it was legal or if he got the ok from the club medicos...the fact remains he confirmed he was injected and under ASADA rules he'll be suspended for at least 6 months and possibly up to 2 years...and so will at least 12 of his mates apparently.

Where has Demetriou been hiding all week???
One of his players has admitted to being injected with banned substances on national TV on Monday Night & the head of the organisation that is allowing this same player to be running around even after admission is nowhere to be seen!!
The lack of action wouldnt have anything to do with the said player being from Essenscum would it? ..one of the biggest clubs in Melbourne, where a banning may mean a loss of TV viewers, readers, sponsors, interest, members etc from a large number of fans of this big Melbourne club!!
