Well well, some of the comments here haven't dated very well. or was it just that Tunisia were awful?  Either way a gutsy effort by the Socceroos after the performance against France. They hung onto their 1 nil lead a lot better than Argentina and Germany

Great all round performance against Tunisia. I think some of you blokes need to settle down a bit. We now need to at least draw with Denmark and hope Tunisia don’t upset France. A win sees us go through.
GTR, Steve Bruce got sacked as West Brom manager a few weeks ago. They have now started winning games.

A great night for Australian football. Excellent first half by us. Our mids dominated and Tunisia looked to have not shown up. They did create some chances though towards the end of the first half. They changed things up after the break and had a lot more possession in the second half. We seemed content to sit back and absorb what ever they threw at us and to counter attack when we could. Nerve racking stuff but so thrilled we got the win in the end.

Well there you go, plenty of pressure on the opposition, an early goal and Tunisia's systems fell apart.

Big game v Denmark will decide second spot.

Loved Polands win.

Plenty of upsets last couple of days.

Getting interesting as to what big names miss out on progressing, will Germany and Belgium make it, can tiny Costa Rica perform a miracle and progress??

Some breathtaking games last night with a pulsating 3-3 draw between Cameroon and Serbia and Ghana edging South Korea 3-2. More predictable wins for Brazil and Portugal but 14 goals in 4 games is pretty good.

Hell, some of the scorelines in the world cup have been higher than the AFLW grand final which was a snoozefest at 2 goals each.

Well poor Wales got a lesson from old rivals England, 3 nil in what was a very disappointing WC campaign, said from the start not idea having them in the same group as one UK team would end up losing out. Rashford in good form.

England are through in fine form to the Group of 16, with a game v Senegal, they should progress, USA the surprise packet of the same group progress as well and will face Netherlands which will be a big ask.

Big night tonight for Aussies, do or die v the Danes.

Sure are - That AFLW stuff really is utter rubbish. I notice the entire comp went barely noticed this year, the media coverage and crowds have fallen away , pretty much didnt even notice it was on, complete embarrassment of a product.
