There have been literally hundreds of thousands of people pass through hotel Q, successfully with no problem this recent problem has nothing to do with Hotel Q, the failure has been the poor reaction time once again by Victoria Tracers to locate and isolate the spreaders, no other state has had problems like Victoria, this will be their 4th lock down due to poor track and trace.

The main issue has been total complacency n the part of the public to get vaxcinated as most people who are eligible have no sense of urgency.

Morrison was the one who announced the 4 million by the end of March.  Again it was Morrison who said that all Australians who wanted to be vaccinated would be by the end of October.  No-one forced Morrison to make those commitments.

Given GPs received allocations of fewer than 100 or 50 vaccines per batch it is hardly a surprise that the percentage of those fully vaccinated is so low.  Who made the comments that we want you to get vaccinated now but there will be plenty of Pfizer vaccine doses available in the last quarter or 2021?

It seems that Mark McG may be listening to the public and not shutting the borders down.  Good to see the Eagles v Ess game go ahead....for now.

I feel a bit sorry for the people on the flight from Melbourne to Perth who landed 30 mins after McGoo declared the hard border and were then forced into 2 weeks hotel quarantine which they have to pay for. When they took off there was no hard border, so they should have been let in under the previous restrictions of self iso and a test within 48hrs and stay iso until a neg test.

Previous posts have blamed the Feds for shortages of the vaccine, but forget that the EU cancelled delivery of millions of AZ doses without notice so cant blame the feds for that. my biggest gripe with the feds is about hotel quarantine, it should all have been done in remote facilities like Christmas island and the like, not in hotels which are not fit for purpose.

SS the question to be asked, vis-a-vis vaccines, why did the Morrison government place all their eggs in the AZ basket?  There was no diversification of vaccine sources in the Morrison plan.

With respect to alternatives to hotel quarantine, why didn't the Morrison government not plan for an alternative to hotel quarantining?  Supposedly there is a site that the Morrison has given the go-ahead to build and in typical Morrison manner it is saying it will be built sooner than anticipated.
