Yes, and No at Claremont Showgrounds Vaccination Center.

News reports yesterday are that there were long waiting times at the big showgrounds centre and advised to go to smaller facilities or gp's. We will book in up here in York after we get back from Adelaide in a week or so.
Sounds like its starting to get some momentum after the media reports spooked so many but in just about every case the suggested link to clotting cannot be proven.

SS I would contact your local GP prior to your trip to see when and how much of the vaccine they are getting.  I suspect it won't be much.  You might like to consider Bazza's course and go to one of the big vaccination clinics in Perth when you get back.

Spoke to my Doc this morning to discuss whether I should or shouldn’t have a shot of vax, considering I had an episode caused by a blood clot.  He was totally adamant that it should not affect my decision, as it is not related in any way to Covid.  The possibility of catching Covid is far more serious than having the vax shot.  Seems like a simple decision now.

Missus and I got it done today and the whole process took less than 1/2 hour.  Guess the question is, why is it that some people are waiting hours?

58s was that from time of walking in to the time you received the vaccine or did it include waiting after the shot to see if there was any reaction to it?
