Just wind back prior to Covid, what where they actually doing? besides opeing up the previous govs infratructure and hiking up household prices,

I didn't hear the comment so I can't speak to the context in which it was said.  Without the actual context it would appear to be an unfortunate choice of words.  HOWEVER, if that is the standard that politicians should be held to account and resign as a consequence, I would suggest that promising 4 million COVID-19 vaccinations by the 1st April, 2021 and falling short by in excess of 3.3 million would also warrant resignation.

Morrison MADE the commitment.  It was unsolicited, unconditional and unequivocal; completely the choice of Morrison to make that commitment.  It is the same as Morrison's promise of the vaccinations for all those who wanted the vaccine by the end of October, 2021.  Then Morrison tried to wind that back by suggesting he only meant the first shot.  To call Morrison a snake oil salesman would be to do a disservice to snake oil salesmen.

I have a fair bit of concern around Politics including Federal level at the moment - the Liberal / National alliance has some serious issues just at the seated position level without even going near the decision making or the processes of them - and the corruption in the eastern states is bloody alarming

No question WA has had a population surge and desperately needs another hospital setup urgently to cope with this event -  no question at all

BC, the EU have been an utter international disgrace when it comes to the vaccine, totally corrupt and diabolical in getting the supplies out and bloody minded when blocking supplies when they don't want to do a deal and break contractual agreements on supplies due to their own lack of organisation.

 

Baz I see there's a big brouhaha developing in Sth Aust where the Women and Children Hospital reporting ramping for the first time in March. Hello...come to WA where you can spend up to 9 hours in the care of paramedics while an ED bed opens up and ramping goes on for thousands of hours each month.

Have no idea why we have such bad hospital ramping.Do we need a specialist hospital just for emergency cases.
