The US electoral system is utterly chaotic, every state does the count a bit different.
Some have already started a count, others leave it until the last minute

Their whole election system is a clusterfuck, not really a simple democratic vote like first past the post or even like our own preferential system. It's so complicated its a joke and leaves it open for a petulant man-child like Trump to tie things up in court for many days or weeks just because he may not like the result. If he is in a winning position, will he still go to court or is it only rigged if he loses??

The only sore losers are Democrats. Still haven't accepted 2016. I remember my brother banging on that Trump will be impeached early 2017. They were still trying in 2019. Despicable, slimy spoilt brats. The Electoral College system is extremely well thought out and ensures the whole country has a voice.

correct; the original yanks were not true democrats and fearred the mob; they also fearred, as I have said before -- sectionalism -- and the electoral college was the price of the smaller sates even joining in the 1790s. These were the same reasons so many in WA were lukewarm about joining our own federation at its foundation.

Anyone that might have won on the cup today should have a little bet on the Republicans in Nevada $4.50 is absurd value. Probably very slight underdogs but if the Republicans turn out to vote on Election Day it’s right in play.
