So Bradley Hill has told Clarko at his end of season meeting he wants to be traded to Freo, interesting.

Mayne too Collingwood would give the Dockers a second round draft pick which I reckon will be ontraded to the Hawks for Brad Hill.

From Grassy

Only a question, but pretty touchy subject still.

FYFE will sign,right?

There's no doubt!

So why the constant delay? What's his manager playing at?

I would have thought he (Fyfe) has answered that, dont see many players renew a contract 12 months before it runs out. Wouldnt be logical.

Here's how I see things possibly playing out.

We will trade our third round selection which I think is pick 39 for Cam McCarthy.

The second round compensation pick we will receive for Mayne I think will be ontraded to Hawthorn for Brad Hill.

Depending on who else leaves an if we can get a pick between 30-40 for Ballantyne I reckon that we would offer that pick to Geelong for Shane Kersten.

With regards to Fyfe I'd like him to stay but of he is going to go I'd rather it be now than in 12 months time. Reason being it has been rumoured that Gold Coast could be a possible destination. Currently they have picks 4, 8, 21, 22, 24. They are wanting midfielders so we could package Fyfe and possibly Barlow. In return Id be trying to get the Suns to part with picks 4, 8 and possibly 24.

Pick 4 could then be used try and lure Jesse Hogan back home.

Grassy you are a stirrer. 'Possibly sagging membership numbers" Promote to captain (players vote that) all very contrary comments. There is nothing untoward at this stage, I wouldn't be too concerned if I was you Grassy, you can stop worrying.

Fro AM

with what the Eagles have got and who SHOULD be delisted or moved on , I think Ballas would be just as well served to stay at Fremantle.I don't see much light at the Eagles either.
Though I think Ballas has gone too far to back out now.
Both sides will be in rebuild mode.

I think Ballas has painted himself into a corner now, wanted 3 year deal from Freo and was knocked back. He wont get that deal from anywhere as his best is behind him and my guess is Freo would like to trade him to get another pick (whatever that would be). Could end up embarrasing for him from here. With regards to Mayne I think the situation may have been similar to Ballas by wanting an extended contact and maybe realising that other younger players will be fighting for his place in the side. Both have been great servants of the club and would go with the best wishes of all supporters I would have thought.

He is our best player but if by him leaving allows us to get Jesse Hogan and another first round draft pick then I think its something that should be strongly considered.
