You got it in a nutshell there Fish.

I think freo have been ear bashing him knowing Pavlich will retire, and it has set off alarm bells with McCarthy & his management. Its very poor form from them.

Cant blame Freo, they are just doing whatever it takes, but GWS simply do not have to negotiate anything with them. Its that simple. He is a contracted player, he can sook for 2 years, or get on with building something special at GWS with a young list that is looking like maybe achieving something.

And if the kid is not happy with his living arrangements in Sydney, then do something about it. Im sure GWS would do anything & everything to make their players happy outside of the club environment.

No wonder he's home sick who would want to live in that shit hole ffs they only have 3000 members, didn't stop them trading Boyd last year he was contracted and a no1 draft pick, I work with a close relative who seems to think the deal will get done either today or tomorrow he's leaving either way at the end of his contract better to get something for him now.

Few media people having a crack because he's home sick, apparently when Gunston wanted to go back to Melbourne because he was homesick that was okay.

I though she may have been doing some vocal warm ups, but she might be just choking.

The kid lives by himself, has nothing outside footy in Sydney and is lost & home sick after being looked after for 2 years as they do when first arriving at the club. Freo have offered a more than adequate deal for him yet GWS say he is a contracted player, then trade other contracted players. The deal is as good as any and even better than the Geelong deal for Dangerfield...what has GWS been smoking? Lets not forget they have more than enough big forwards to choose from. Do they have a beef with Freo or am I missing something here?

Was it this year that Mc Carthy signed an extension to his contract Rock?.
Also Dangerfeild was a restricted free agent, so he had a bit more on his side.
Apparenetly Freo havent even officailly offered a deal??

He signed this year Unk.

In two years time Fremantle's window will be closed & gathering cobwebs. He sees the Giants arising.

It bemuses me how so many clubs can talk to each other and get deals done, yet when it comes to the Dockers, they all play hard ball and don't seem to want to trade or even talk to us.Yes McCarthy is under contract, yet so was Tom Boyd. The deal was done by the Neeshies.
Are clubs frightened to deal with us!!!! are we doing it all the wrong way!!
We put all our eggs in the McCarthy basket and came home with nothing.
Not sure what the answer is but we need to get better at doing this trade thing.

Freo got Bennel for basically a second rounder an absolute steal, Freo threw the kitchen sink at GWS they will come to regret it when McCarthy walks to Freo in two years time.

I remember the experts saying Freo would struggle to make the 8 this year, so we've lost one player out of our best 22 and added a jet in HB Fyfe will play more forward 3rd best contested mark in the AFL including forwards they will be top four again next year.
