Yeah very surprised about Ballard A/M, also Duffy to some extent. Do you think Pav will go around again next year? Probably in a managed capacity if he does, maybe 14 or 15 out of 22 games, no travelling to Queensland or Tasmania

he averaged 25 possessions per game over 40 games in 2 seasons for Peel. Got only one opportunity with the Dockers and that was a game where Lyon rested the top players. Cannot understand the decision unless there was an attitudinal issue.

And in that game he started as the sub so they obviously don't rate him, I'm led to believe his disposal aren't flash.

Don't know about A/M but I'm all for it, if it comes off potential top 5 player in the league and Freo need line breakers.

Bennell is a freak should be a good get for freo but Pav needs to retire he's done & if I heard correctly did he cry the morning of the 2013 GF!?!?! Bloody hell no wonder they lost & he was ordinary! Couldn't imagine a hodge voss or Carey doing that!

Back home... I think he was a troubled boy before he went to the GCS. So coming back into that environment may not help him.

Go back and watch our two finals this year lack of goal scoring and xfactor was Freo's downfall Harley brings both, as for his behaviour that famous photo in the herald sun was two years ago he's nowhere near the Garlett bracket, and the Hawks still picked him up.

The Hawks took a chance and Garlett stuffed up on there watch, does anyone even remember anymore.

Dont think anyone denies his ability at all. Comparing hawks to freo is a bot of a stretch, hawthorn have a strong culture with their players/leadership, i think its one area that Freo lack at the moment. We also dont know if Harley had indescretions that never made it to the media. His mother wanted him away from WA. As i say he is a very talented player, there is a reason just about every club passed on him. I wish ross and freo well and hope it works out for em

So its not OK for a guy to cry then? Especially when he is on the verge of a long craved for ambition when he had copped a heap of crap for years while playing for freo. As I remember he was by no means the worst on the day. But your implication that crying or showing any emotion is somehow weak is a misconception and probably why so many more guys commit suicide than women. Not a good message, especially in Mental Health Awareness week.

Not the morning of a GF mike.. If your not in the right frame of mind then why would he play.. Almost laughable.
