You don't have any other comment on the game other than that!!!!

It seems that your mate "terror" is a loose cannon with nowhere to fire anchor, but I do agree with his thoughts on NicNat. Very early days yet, but he didn't show one glimpse of promise yesterday.

Was thinking of that 58. I wonder if Nic Nac is going to end up being a highlight reel ( they showed that 3 tap piece of play yersteday ad nausem ), alas a higlight reel can win you matches every now and then...BUT for a week in week out meat and veg player/ruckman ( mumford? for example), i really wonder if he will "produce". Maybe its the way he lopes around, but he still looks lazy to me. I also wonder if he is an athlete, who no matter how ya train him, he just doesnt have any semblence of footy nous

Early I though the Eagles looked sharp and speedy, leaving Freo lamenting until about half way through the first quarter. The Dockers then began to apply pressure and the Eagles didn't handle it all that well.
For Freo, Fyfe was out standing , but must improve his kicking. He is really hungry looking and it is only his kicking that will let him down.
Some good signs from several youngsters, Tommy Sheridan showed he is not far away from a regular spot. Duffy showed very good signs and was impressed by Connor Blakely. His pass to Pavlich in the last quarter was simply superb. If he can display that sort of form early for Peel he will get a spot early.
Hannath played well and looked dangerous at times and will improve and get his chances later in the year.
Walters was playing almost in first gear and looks like having a good year.
Clarke was very good in the ruck and up forward.
One not so good sign was the early injury to Nick Suban. The poor guy just can't take a trick. He has had a blinder of a pre-season and does a hammy in the first minute today.
In a match that didn't mean much other than a game under the belt it was still a good win.

A/man don't be surprised if Blakely plays more in purple than for their reserves' team. Pity he wasn't able to continue his development alongside with his brother and mates at Baso.

NicNat is suffering from a lack of good quality coaching and mentoring. He is a direct product of the quality of the West Coast Eagles' coaching.

I enjoyed the game A/M, especially when the Eagles challenged and came within a goal, the contest went up a notch and it almost seemed like there were premiership points on the line.

I was impressed with Sheridan , think he is pushing for a spot particularly given Suban is now going to be out. One area Freo may be vulnerable in is tall defenders given that Dawson and Silvani will miss round 1 and maybe beyond. Perhaps an opportunity for Hannath?. You would be keeping your fingers crossed that Mcpharlin stays fit.

Conor Blakely is a very clever player with lots of potential but may need to bulk up a bit to compete physically so I would say he will spend much of his time in the WAFL this year unless Freo get a lot of injuries. He will be a great long term prospect though- an excellent draft pick, not biased of course

You are an idiot!!
He has one of the best ruckman of recent time teaching him the trade.

Its up to Nic himself to how much he applies himself.
Big jump from colts, wafl league to the big time of the AFL and he is one that has struggled to make the transition.

I feel abit sorry for nicnat.
since day one the media have gone over the top with him in every aspect. all he seems to be doing is trying his best to his ability. the rest is just media driven bulldust.

as for that nab scratchy, the eagles still make poor disposal choices and seem to over use the ball all the time. Freo will still be ok if they keep their list injury free. That is debatable given the age of some players and their known injury issues. I think freo will make the top 6, eagles probably the same as last year. but who really knows?

maybe we should post our AFL ladder predictions for the heck of it :P

Exactly how many years has NicNat been in the West CoastEagles' system? Perhaps you can enlighten me on how many marks he averages for all his Eagles' games?

I absolutely, unequivocally, unreservedly and unambiguously stand by my previous comment.
