How long did Sandilands take befoe he became a quality ruckman,was it the Dockers coaching staff that held him back?

is this the same nic nat who made all australian in 2012? obviously that was the worst selection in history as quite frankly, he's the most over-rated player in the AFL. sure he has potential but he hasn't delivered and that's what counts.

Swan, your obsession with SD really blinds you to common sense. It pains me to say this, but maybe the lad isn't as good as you think he is. Let me assure you, he will develop quicker and better at an AFL club than at a WAFL club.

See my other post - big man, still young, still developing and media has built up unreal expectations. If he isn't producing at a high level in 2-3 years, then I will be the first to say you fellas were right. Forget the hatred of anything WCE boys.

Don't want to insult you, but do you have any idea about the development of footballers? Do you realize he has played one practice game in 2015? If he hasn't put in acceptable performances at the end of this season, send me a post and I'll bow to your superior football knowledge.

Sam Jacobs from crows is mid 20's about 90 games & his development is very good.. He is an excellent ruckman.. Any thoughts?

Sorry 58S your team drafted him at what position? I had nothing to do with draft pick. I believe he was drafted to the West Coast Eagles in 2009. If that is correct he is coming up to his 7th year and over 100 AFL games. In my opinion if he had spent the same period of time under the tutelage of Percy Johnson he would be far more advanced than what he has achieved under the West Coast Eagles' training and development regime.

It will be interesting just how long his career does last. I don't believe that a leading player can go that long with out making a REAL impression on the game, and not a perceived impression like the press and the supporters have of him.

The crux of my comment a/man is that Percy is able to develop players and would have been able to impart significant knowledge on the art of rucking to NicNat. In my opinion that has been singurlarly lacking thus far in his career.
