Well obviously it wasn't Freo, Crowley took it on himself to go outside the club.

Yep they are making sure its all clean for the purple now, somewhat strange seeings they have known for months, told porkies to try and cover and now only because he wasn't able to play in preseason games decided the game was up!

Rosich banged on about confidentiality etc, well it wasnt to confidential during the press conference was it, joke.

Absolute and patent nonsense Bazza.

Bazza: first thing using Patrick Smith to back up your point of view is not what I would consider a good endorsement given his almost complete lack of knowledge of the Fremantle Dockers. Secondly, it is my understanding that the correct procedure was followed with respect to timeline and who is informed. Finally, on what basis do you assert the rationale behind Freo's intententions, motivations and actions?

But remember that it is a Purple matter, so his POV is badly slanted.

A/man are you trying to stir Bazza? How do you think Freo's reserves' team is going to go in the WAFL this year?

Your hatred for Fremantle out does anything else that you do here.
How much Dinero did the SFFC make out of the Dockers playing Melbourne the other week!!!!!Are the club going to hand it all back.

Nothing to do with handing back money, Crowley was tested on 13th July & has had plenty of time to find an excuse. However ignorance is not an excuse. Something stinks in this case. It "pains " me to knock him but if it hurts then I can take a pain killer..Get over it, he did something wrong.

Leaving out any comparison to the Bombers situation Leather as the club we support has faced a much different scenario than what Crowley is facing, I just wondered if you see much difference in the end result with regards to advantage gained of a player taking a pain killer to alleviate back pain up against a player taking 17 cortisone injections in a week in order to play in the GF, with almost all media and footy experts ignoring or justifying this as ok because GF's don't come along every day. Assuming that the pain killer was taken with non dubious intentions and not as a masking agent personally I don't see the difference with regards to the advantage gained. Barely a whimper let alone uproar amongst the haters about needle and injection abuse in the GF case either.

You 're not talking about the ragged Lions. Melb City Council had bring an extra truck to cart away the needles.

I can't understand why people bring up cortisone injections as a comparison. That stuff is legal and allows a person to play at 100% of their ability. Enhancing drugs are illegal and allow people to play at 110% of their ability.

I find it difficult to believe that most pain killers excluding those laced with psuedoephedrine type stimulants (even then only similar to caffeine in minor doses) allow players to play beyond their natural uninjured physical capabilities. Its only their potential as masking agents that gets a lot of them on the banned list which whilst I understand the reasons 2yrs is bloody harsh on players who inadvertently take minor pain medication for that very purpose. Not allowing for abusive sustained heavy use of them here which is another thing altogether but to me the advantages are the same as cortisone to me in just enabling players to get on the park when in pain or discomfort. My old boss described his playing day cortisone injections as like being given new legs which if not a physical advantage is a mental advantage gained by injection. As the coaches always say 80% off the game is played upstairs. Next time I'm at the GP I'm going to ask how many cortisone injections per week maximum would be regarded as medically responsible and ethical practice. If its 17 or above I'll eat my words.
