Cardy, I see they have a new electronic scoreboard in the background. What's it like? Does it keep up-to-date with all the other scores?

Certainly better that the EP $UBI Scoreboard. When they have one

Heres the best pic I could find with the scoreboard in background.
Nice figure for the WP Ressies as well.. Player Braydon Antonio

You will notice there is a scrolling text at the bottom that gives updates of other games.
Now that is a good idea as it shows a running score rather than having to wait for the scoreboard to bring it up on the full screen during the breaks at Leederville (If you lucky) IT MUST BE NOTED that this is a pic taken during the RESERVES game so it means they actually give Reserves scores from other grounds as well.. Now that is a first for all grounds I think.

If you look at the Dean Munns pic in the last series of pics it shows how they are utilize what appears to be the old Scoreboard... Now thats a good idea for Sponsers :)

I assume it would be a must down at Mandurah as not sure how 91.3 is received and suspect KIX Digital not really that good but not sure... Their Coverage in Perth is good if you have a Digital radio or listen to it on the Net on the 6IX website streaming on game day.
Good call as well on Kix

Who will ever forget this scoreboard at Medibank  A bloody disgrace

Interesting odds on the GF winner in WAFL this year.
WP running second on SportsBet at $4.50 and worthy of that price.

Price could drop if we beat Subi in a couple of weeks and that is on the cards.
It will show where we are at the next 2 games. If we lose one win one not a problem
Both at Home and considering the result we had last time at Muddy Bank and how close we were in this game think we can turn it around.

Swans IMO opinion are a great price considering their game v EP last week
They are the dark Horses
EF Hmmm could be some problems down there at Shark Park with Malaxos leaving?

Dont want the GREAT PRETENDERS EP EAGLES or Peel Dockers to win it as it would be a False win.

$UBI are trying to buy a premiership and it helps when you have a nice bank account.
They claim they have done good recruiting but Dollars talk.

To quote our president you have to watch your bottom line and with the budget the other clubs have it must be kept down when considering players recruited So the other G7 clubs who are struggling to maintain a profit or the bottom line dont have as many options.

To quote From our president in his letter to members last week

While our membership and sponsorship remain strong and tracking ahead of where we were last year, our Club continues to work under significant financial constraints due to our current leasing arrangement with Venues West. Our ability to generate income is vastly different to every other WAFL Club which is why club functions are so critical to our financial viability and determine to a large degree, our on-field competitiveness and success.

Members often talk to me about recruitment. First and foremost we can only recruit if we can finance it. When allocating funds to our football budget we also have to consider other areas of our football department that are viewed as critical to improving our on field performance.

unquote

Looking at our senior list and who we have available we are well in the running to win another flag. Key players comming back in the next couple of weeks will improve our side and IMO we will have one of the best lists we have had for a long time.

Lets hope our players can remain injury free as this is a huge consideration.
We have good depth though and should be able to maintain a good team running on the park each week.

The Holy Grail is there to be had. We will march as one on the road to the Holy Grail.. Enjoy the song

BILLS GRILL 13 June.

Interview of Bill from the club. Great to get a update on Rohan. All the best to him and I hope it doesnt come down to surgery :(

Q: How has Rohan Kerr pulled up with his back injury?
A: Rohan's had a scan on his back and it's been an on-going thing with him for a while now. He got twisted in a contest where the ball got smothered off his boot so the bottom half of his body was going one way with the momentum of the smother, and someone came over the top the other way and twisted him. I'm not really all over what the scans he's had done mean, other than he's going to see a surgeon on Monday as well as speaking to our physio, sports doctors and club doctor to get a wide range of views as to what needs to be done. I'm not sure if it requires surgery, but it's not totally out of the question that it might and that would mean he's out for an extended period. There's also a chance that he might be right to play against South, so until he sees the specialist on Monday we are a little bit unsure.
