As you know Growler been tied up myself but will be waving good bye to my visitors tomorrow at the airport at 5pm :(

Good reception on KIX radio and good call so covered there on my digital radio.
Will have a look at the U18 game as well on the Net.. AFL.com.au will be showing that live.

Heres the team list again.. they dont have Chooky listed as out but he is

B L Rasmussen S Rotham S Browne
HB L Meadows T Keitel D Rohde
C A Black J Van Berlo R Kerr
HF M Johnson M Adams A Strijk
FF N Rodda M Lourey S Potente
F C Keunen S Nelson A Lynch
Int. R Bartholomew, C Chalmers, M Guadagnin, T Manzone, K Shannon, L Tedesco, B Wilhelm,
In R Bartholomew, C Chalmers, T Keitel, T Manzone, J Van Berlo,
Out K Manning,

I would say either Cory or Trent will play in the extended list along with Gaudy and Shannon who will be walk ins(well thats who I would play ) Think Wilhelm needs a bit more time in the ressies. Not knocking the guy as he is playing well at that level.
Great to see Jay VB back again as he was missed last week

Because both hard at it and have good form. Keitel maybe as he has been playing well in the ressies and the lift might bring a bit more out as well.

My problem is our back line with the usual exceptions. They have Striker listed fwd but he will be needed down back. So good down there. Browny and Rhodesy good on right flank and Luke and Rassa on the left looking ok.
It is the centre that worries me. I think Rotham is developing but against a Dorker or experienced player will struggle. I am not that convinced by his form in previous matches either. Does the odd good thing but makes a lot of errors.
Now they have Kietel in there with him at HB... Hmmmm another guy who will get a key forward from Peel on him.
Maybe put Striker in there and move Kietel to HF? He does have a bit of height as well.
Handy from what I have seen in general play as well.

Sure Blacky ,Kerr and VB will move up the ground as well to give us a bit more down back.

I have noticed Bill has basically been dropping the whole team back.. It has worked at times but as they say Horses for courses.

Great to see Marcus back and he had a good game first back last week so should be improved by the run. .

Lourey will be the go to man in the forward line and he has proven he can kick goals. Seems to be having a bit of problem holding onto them lately whereas at the start of season the balls stuck like glue.

Pretty sure knowing coaches games though the positions above will change dramatically at the start and Bill will move men around depending on contests so not much point in debating to much as to how it will pan out

Looking forward to the contest with interest.
One thing we have at WP as do other G7 Clubs is Loyalty to the club and the colours whereas Peel and EP are just using it as a training run and are only interested in themselves and not the TEAM.
Ok depending on who is in or out for them can make the difference and they do win games but lets not forget they are Professional footballers who train all week and only have one thing to worry about and that is selection at the higher level.
Our guys work for a living and train a couple of nights and turn up on Saturday ready to play.

Cheers for the rundown Cardy

I wonder though as I mentioned in my previous post, do you know anything about Mannings injury and how it may/must have occured?

I often see the line up being one thing and then players else where when siren sounds so most of your personal thoughts could very well come to fruition??

Keitel inclusion is an interesting one if it comes off... he's been mentioned several times without actual inclusion but with the couple of injuries we have maybe he could add an interesting ingrediant to the mix... not one the Freo mob would have sorted on their man-up lists I would think?
Mind you - he might just get a "welcome to the Leaugue' that he'll have to push through if hes on deck - or knocked under it hahaha :side:

Excellent to see VB back - he MUST stand up this week when the push comes to shove - His apprentiship is finishing and the role as Captain must be bought to the fire...

I'll be relying on the WAFL statt site aaaaarrrrgh!! or Ill try the radio . unsure if I'll get reception where Im heading?

Good Luck Boys - with the Bye coming we need this WIN!! B)

Mate it happened right at the end of the game. He came off holding his Shoulder and in some pain.. No reason given by the commentators but most probably from a hard hit or a fall.. Who knows..
Kody has a history of Shoulder problems Must be all that crunching he does when hitting an opponent .. Lol unless he was near Elbows Wulff.. The commentator said it appeared to be a dislocation. Now that would hurt.

Bad luck that you dont have the KIX radio site... WAFL ok but it doesnt tell the story even though they have stats and running scoreline.

Will try and give you a update according to the Callers but not being at the game not good. I must admit though the call team at KIX is bloody good.
They say on their promo's that they are on the net but I cant find it. I ran re that as I do travel a bit even over east and if on the net can get it anywhere.
When I rang it was actually 6PR who answered the phone and said they would ring me back... Never happened.. So left it at that.
Not sure what the coverage is for Digital radio but would assume whereever their is a repeater eg net and telephone access you would be able to get Digital but not sure on that. Will do a bit more research.

VB has been a gun in our last few games and rarely lets us down. He certainly has the fitness and experience and that is a big plus.
I see Mitch is still in the Ressies this week but he is developing into a good player and will certainly be a big part of WPFC in years to come.

Have a good weekend

Hey boys, hope its not too late to join the party!

Congratulations to T.Keitel on getting his league debut, has been playing well in the reserves and hopefully plays well tomorrow against the dockers!. Kody Mannings shoulder is a concern but will hopefully return after the bye. Chook Fowlers ankle is also frustrating but has not performed well in the last few weeks so a change could be well needed for the falcons. Shame that T.moulton (goes my moults?) also has hurt his ankle this week as he seemed like a good addition to the league side along side T.Keitel to replace a few injured falcons. Apparently moults and keitel are very good friends?

Best of luck to the falcons tomorrow, Should get the 4 points!!

Also any news on Strijk's injury from the weekend?

Never to late to join the party mate.. Pity more didnt come on board.
Great to see Tyler selected in the Extended list. Doesnt mean he will be included as a couple will drop back later. Will be interesting if he does play as has shown the goods and the Run will do him good in the league.. As you say Chooky is a game to game proposition and not consistant. He is handy on a good day.
Didnt know Striker had an injury but he is listed so hope runs on unless late out.

Lets hope the guys dont have a bad hair day in the league like last week but cant win them all. WAFL comp is certainly interesting. Would like to see Perth and Swannies win today but it is a big call.
Richmond certainly showed nothing is certain last night.
