This was one of the best games I have seen for a while. It was real good tough football and there was nothing between the two teams. The umpires let the game go and didn't pay stupid little free kicks, you had to earn a free kick today. Keitel played a bloody good game, his first kick was a goal on the run. He took some tough pack marks and I think he had three or four goals. Lourey was quiet but he came good in the last quarter with a few marks. Strijk was magnificent in the backline. Rodda made a few blues in the backline that ended up in goals but it was hard work and he did his job. Addams was bloody great in the backline, he took some strong marks. We lost Kerr half way through the second quarter, he was kneed in the back and was in some pain. He is to have scans to see how bad his back is. Teddy got hurt when Mzungu came of the bench and ploughed straight into his face. Adams was limping, Shannon came off with a hammy so at one stage we had no reserves late in the last quarter. As I said earlier it was of the best games I have seen for a while.

West Perth would be very happy with the win as they go into the bye. They'd stay in second position on the league ladder. With a tough match for Souths next week, not sure whether they'll jump in front of West Perth after the next round?

Noticed on stats Rohan KERR had 3 disposals and 2 kicks.

Have found out since he retired hurt.. Early obviously
Back Injury - lets hope it is minor but being back could be Long term?

Considering Rohan is one of our key players it certainly adds a bit more gloss to the team effort playing with a Key player down and one short on the bench.

Kerr was in a lot of pain, the club doctor and physios attended to him straight away.
Rohan had showered and changed at half time and told me that he has to have scans next week.
Even though his stats were a bit light his leadership was impressive. The blokes I hang around
with all agreed the way he instructed the players was very impressive. Keitel is a player
that has huge potential and I can see why we grabbed him when he wanted to leave East Eagles.
Forgot to mention that the reserves had a huge win.

I wish I was there to have enjoyed the atmosphere of what seems to have been an excellent game

I had to endure several interrupted net displays via the WAFL stat site ... nothing more annoying when you relying on this engine and all you get is a circle going around and around and then - 'not available' ...

I wish Kerrie all the best and hope hes not injured to a great degree but from memory it was a knee in the back/shoulder blade that took Kody Manning out last year so these type of incidents can have dangerous results

Mzungu must be trying to get his AFL job back by rough n tumble effect... hell not find that the way to go through the WAFL as he progresses.

Keitel is talented and very slightly built and I can forecast him receiving some attention in games to come from heavier bodied opposition. The young man will be on a steep learning curve but he certainly seems to relish his opportunity so it will be up to his team mates to do a bit of body guarding when able.....

The other injuries to the Team with luck will mostly be due to hard running, corks and the like from a brutal game
With the bye this week all should have time to bounce back and a decent list should be available for Bills choice.
