Interesting view fellas as Swandog & I actually made comment at the game about the large crew of us Swans supporters who were there supporting the WA sides all day.

hahaha I guess it must have been the bright colour Blue n Red of the WP Jumper that stood out more?
Maybe it also says something about the supporters of these two teams if indeed each one had greater visually recognisable supporters at the game.
Proud of their clubs and of WA football....

great to see the WP and SD fans quibbling over bragging rights about whose club is the biggest and the bestest..never ending argument me thinks!..as Swandog said a few years back when having a beer with his mate from WP.... Raponi?...."the WAFL needs the SDFC more than any other club in the WAFL".....hopefully next year the WA selectors pick a state side solely of WP and SD players....11 players each club, so there is no whinging and whining from both clubs about unfairness and bias towards selection..... .......

out of interest, when you say a large contingent of SD or WP fans in attendance... how many are we talking about here?.....considering the crowd was some 2500 - 3000 strong.....reckon there will be more at the Foundation day Freo derby on Monday TBH.

yes...the bogandeans go on about all the supporters they supposedly have..well at a recent game v Subi at leederville there were about half a dozen idiots on the far side of the ground, two morons in the pocket hurling abuse at anyone in earshot and a handful of degenerates in the WART section of the grandstand, a couple of old chooks in the covered area at the TAFE end and that was about it.

official attendance - 1353
Swans supporters - 15
Subi supporters - 1338

Actually we did notice some Subi supporters at the State Game
first they were getting pissed at the bars and then we noticed they went and hid behind tress and toilet walls waiting to punch the f...k out of anyone who walked past ........................

and MO don't forget there were 15 Swan supporters and 15 WP supporters and then the rest were Subi Bush-Wackers

From what I have seen when WP V SD the majority if supporters are SD followers and the fill the banks at Joondalup.. Always a good crowd at Basso as well
A lot bigger than I see at other games.. At least Subi fills their Grandstand at Medibank but that is only about 100 people..

It was nice to see one of the players you gave big dollars to and has only played 8 WAFL games was selected. He didnt look to happy when he came off. Maybe no Brown envelope was paid for the state game? Dont worry Leigh $ubi will look after you..

Hahahaha thanks BC, thats the first time anyones ever called me a degenerate, but I was a cold one in the WART stand I can tell you. Those old chooks were making a fair bit of noise at the TAFE end tho.........

no worries mike...glad you can see the tongue in cheek side of it unlike my very good friends cardy and growler. it was bloody cold that's for sure. i left the main stand half way through the last qtr and sat in covered area where the old girls were really teeing off. it was as funny as a fit listening to them...they were definitely staunch salt of the earth SD supporters.
