Nelson is a lovely guy and has endured much personal hardship that I recognise and applaud his resolve , but I agree with the comments made here and that most of his gets are soft and his disposal of the ball is more than 50% ineffective and regularly results in a turn over .... (Stats are not an honest reflection of a players worth)I'm afraid he is one of the players I rate as selfish and without team thought but rather 'mate' driven (sadly)
Hopefully as he matures this will change ....
Blackie on the day also made some atrocious disposals (One in particular) and decisions costing turnovers..

I agree we missed many players on the day and I dare say under different circumstance the 2's would have been embarrassed once again!!!!

I also agree that LUCK was not with us ... An interesting requirement in a game of footy very often. No matter the quick kicks, soccer kicks, tap downs etc, they all seemed to find their way to opposition players Very frustrating
I think it was the hold the WP players made to restrict the score board hurt that impressed me enormously Generally EP did not enjoy the destruction I Think they believed would happen and I think it also showed they will never match the 100 point smashing they were handed this year and that will always be held above their heads as a banner of shame, not dissimilar to the win in the grand final that WP were given 'no chance' of taking from them...

I thought it interesting that Selwood is the man that has actually renamed the EP team from now on as HE made the furfee or Freudian slip in his interview during the week referring to the EP club as the 2's
What a insult to those players belonging to this club for years to now be the 'reserves side' - the 2's to the eagles

Goodness I am offended at this , maybe I shouldn't be? It's not my club and they are our living rivals and enemy on the field but what a load of crock shit .... The eagles no matter their influence and their money injection knows EP are their reserves as do we all.
THE COMP WILL FOREVER BE TAINTED WITH ONLY TWO TEAMS BEING INJECTED WITH PROFESSIONAL PLAYERS WEEK IN WEEK OUT - their wins being rejected as being tainted and the losses laughed at louder with it being tagged embarrassing by professional footballers being butt smacked against amateur passionate players - a revolution awaits in the wings.

Don't know, never been invited. I would guess that we still are trying to save money and don't have access to the JCC or VW kitchens. Cambridge or Perth councils (as it soon will be) cannot even. BH only sells cars!

Hmmm let's see - how will they know
1. Half of one team will still be looking up at the sky at the start of the game searching for their eagle mascot swooping over head but mystified there are only seagulls pooping on their shoulders.
2. Half of a teams players will be ducking for free kicks when a tackle is made.
3. Half of one team won't know the other half's names and resort to yelling out 'hey mate' or ' oy you'
4. And lastly I guess it will be the opposite team to the one that deserves to be there .......

Well done Falcons, it was great to go to a game and see all the boys throwing everything at it, some of you are a bit harsh, the conditions were atrocious and correct disposal of the ball was almost impossible.

If the dick head Feral I had a verbal stoush with on the banks in the last qtr is on this site, you picked on the wrong bloke to get a laugh out of your mates didn't ya !
