As a Swans supporter, It'd be great to see West Perth send a strong side to Geelong and win the $100,000 to better their club kitty, and get it up the WAFC/AFL - Geez, I'd even buy a 2014 WP Foxtel Premiers stubby holder!

Whats the rules with fielding a League side for a WAFL fixture predominantly made up of reserves players?

The Saturday game to be played at Leederville is not a home game for WP, and I think most people would tip EP over WP.

My way of looking at it - Williamstown def East Perth. Box Hill def by West Perth.

There is a good chance you won't get the points in the WAFL, but you will the $100,000, providing no fines for playing a heavily fielded reserves loaded side in the WAFL.

It may be an important game for the reserves in the lower level, but just as important to put them against EP in a higher level - what are reserves for anyway?

The WAFC have made a mockery of the 2014 season, can't see they'd have a leg to stand on if WP did the same.

Good luck WP in whatever you choose to do.

West Perth need to stop whinging & take their best possible 22 over to Geelong & win the $100,000. Then get back to play against East Perth on Saturday & win that too. In my opinion West Perth are the only team that can threaten East Perth as proven by the 100 point smashing earlier in the year. No other team can match it with them in my opinion.

In my opinion they are, pretty much same team as last year but the hunger just isn't there. What they did to East Perth in the first round proved they can match it with them.

consistency of performance is the best indicator to a teams ability.
Claremont beat West Perth so under your criteria they could say they are the 2nd best team.

I would think the League side playing Resi's even on a short back up would help there cause for Finals

they certainly did, though i wouldnt think Claremont supporters would see themselves as the 2nd best side in the comp at this stage of the season.

Maybe cos they hadn't demolished the top side by 100 points.
