The Red and Blue will certainly be out for an important win Shark Tragic.
I really think you will go in favourites as you have always performed well at Joondalup and we have some Key outs. Hopefully we will get it all together and get over the line.
2 good games today being the Ressies an League.
We will certainly get our money's worth with these 2 clubs playing in a games that could influence their Finals chances.
Not sure how many players you are missing in the colts due to U18 championships game this Sunday at Freo and they havent been far off the pace in last few games.

All the best to all teams

Spot on Leedy in a close game that could of gone either way the umpires made the difference.. Well actually I think they have just closed our season down
8 points out and Bye next week with EF playing Subi could be 12 points out :(
Free count pretty even but it doesnt say where they were given 2 x 50 directly in front didnt help.

Umpires aside as we are becomming used to their standards and come to expect it from most. It is part of the game and as I always say a good team will overcome bad umpiring. In fairness they missed a few on the EF guys as well. Very inconsistant

Well done to the EF League side. Their back line was incredible. EF were harder at the ball in the second half and were beating our guys to the ball. We will have to turn it around next time we meet at Joondalup again Round 20 9 AUG
My opinion is by then we could be in the same situation as today with 4 points separating us... Revenge will be sweet and set us up for a run home for that 4th spot...

Scrappy game at best but non the less both sides were as bad as each other.
If we didnt have Andrew Strijk in the side we would of lost by a bit more. Them man was incredible.. out of 25 Disposals he had 21 kicks and most of those were out of the EF forward line.. Well done mate :) Guady was missed and could of made the difference as he has a BIG influence in our games..
Seva played a brilliant game and filled the void made by Chris being injured
Jordon Jones came in from Injury and played well as did
Blacky,Slick,Nelson, Razor did ok with the Helmut on. Teddy looked good in the last qtr and did some good things.

League will have to rely on EF losing a few and us winning a couple more. Not impossible but a big ask.

Reserves great game

WP 16.13 (109) DEF EF 4.5 (29)

Incredible result considering EF 2nd on ladder and had only 2 losses up until this one.. Well done to Paul Sanzone and his TEAM. The tackling and endeavour by the Reserves over the last few weeks has been a pleasure to watch :)

Colts Winners as well

WP 8.12 (60) DEF EF 6.5 (41)

Ladders

RESERVES

COLTS

Gee boys, very disappointed in you. I always expect the Swans boys to whine about the umps every time they lose, but you boys usually cop it on the chin.

We usually do mate but considering the closeness of the game a few of their decisions influenced the result. Ok all that aside you could of still won the game.
We will never know.

It has happened and nothing we can do about it I suppose no point in whinging about it.
We just have to move on and win a few more than you over the next half of the season.
We could be back to the same position the next time we meet and reverse the result.
We are still in it with a slim chance.. The 4 below us appear to be definately out of contention unless they win 8 games straight :)

All the best for the rest of the season..

good to see another close game between these two clubs.......gutted to hear the umps culled another one of EF opposition  ......seems to happen every time EF win a game these days......touch wood EF can win a game off their own back some time soon......always frustrating to lose a game to the maggots, can't say I understand what you're going through though boys, because it never seems to happen to us EF fans  .....

expecting another full on affair between EF and WP again up at Joondy towards the latter part of the season.....2-1 to WP and from the looks of it well deserved as well.

Not all doom and gloom Freezin..Must admit any club that plays EF over the next few weeks will have a heap of WP SUPPORTERS..
If Subi can knock them over next week will maintain the balance
Then they have a bye the next week and we take on SF..
So if we beat SF and Subi beat EF it will be back to a 4 POINTS margin for that 4th spot.
Going to be interesting..

Basically what I am say the top 3 will be set in concrete and the other comp will be EF and WP playing for that 4th spot :) OK EF have a 2 game buffer but in 2 weeks it could be down to a 4 point buffer and the story continues.

Still a bit of interest there :) p.s kept an eye on Tamati today for you.. He is picking up the idea and is certainly fit.. Paul Sanzone is going to have to have a word with him though. He tends to chase the ball rather than wait for it to come to him or read the play.. At one stage I saw him run from the backline right up to the Foward line.. chasing the ball :) Wasting a lot of energy doing that as he never really ended up catching the ball. Just some wise words from the coach will sort that out. Still comming to grips with the game but hey they even had a couple come over to AFL from the Rugby league e.g Filou. Not sure if Tamati played rugby?

He certainly has the physic and the endurance to play WAFL that is for sure.
Hope he stays with it as long as the club will allow him and enjoys the game.
He is with a great team in the WPFC Reserves would be helping him every inch of the way.

Overall I think the Falcon supporters on here are the most reasonable of the lot but today I just have to say you are losing a bit of credibility even slightly pointing the finger at the umpire. At quarter time the Sharks were being raped by the orange maggots and from there it just evened out, and that's putting it diplomatically in fear of upsetting Falcon supporters. Put it this way - it is the first time that I can ever remember at Joondalup that the West Perth fans did not boo the umpires coming off at half time. And even after the game! That says a lot if that rabid mob aren't complaining.

Having said that, they are two very even teams who will not be putting the fear of god in the minds of the top three and certainly neither will be challenging for the flag.

Cannot blame the Umpires Cardy, West Perths form has been insipid for the majority of the season and results over the season thus far, shows they have a huge Premiership hangover and don't deserve to play finals. Reserves going along nicely, can atone for last year.
