Hope you're right Southerner and WC take a few extras to Adelaide.We need to show something this week.Incidentally on the question of selections I noticed the WAFL site injury list(no guarantee of accuracy) has the WC Wafl players currently out and there are 11 names on there.Sounds like the top ups might need top ups!How's the fitness levels Whinnen and Southie - you might get a call up!

They will take a lot of their squad to that circus in Adelaide this weekend so the only way you guys are going to be beaten is if you turn up to the wrong oval. You will likely get a bloated percentage out of it.
Later in the year however when the Eagles are looking better on the injury front they will be a lot more competitive and knock a few sides off as they did with Souths last season. It really turns the WAFL competition into a lottery.

Fair call Mikeh.On the one hand its a case of good luck to the side playing them when they're down but then it's totally unfair when they have heaps of AFL players and they beat a potential top 5 side or affect their %tge .Just ask SF about that loss last year.You can't ask for the WAFC to limit their AFL numbers during the season(like it is in finals)because all hell will break loose.Nesbitt and Co.will threaten  all sorts of things - withdrawal of funding being the biggest - and anyway the WAFC would bend over backwards to accommodate what the AFL sides want.But back on topic - hope the thoughts of a handy win come true.

Rotham would have got a credit for dumping Bolton, the protected species talked the maggots into a 150m penalty just when were getting on top of them. Some of the obvious infringements he gave away last year were not given, nothing has changed !

one thing you can't do with Bolton is try the rough stuff - it doesn't work and the cost is too great , there are ways to limit that output without having the pill go back over your head the other way via the ladies with the whistle

The boys last week lacked intensity, they looked tired and their play out of the backline gaining 50 metres with three or four short kicks was forced upon them by Claremont’s ability to cover all bases. Ben Johnsons 24 disposals and 24 kicks was highest stat collector and apart from Luke Meadows, the stats for the other mids was average. Claremont should have won the game by 5 or 6 goals, saying that we could have won the game by 5 or 6 goals because of inaccuracy from both sides. Anyway we have WC this week, WC probably will be depleted so I hope the boys don’t run out thinking it’s going to be a walk over. Also, 50m penalties hurts, discipline is paramount.

Bolton is a terrific player and a smart player who knows how to manipulate and suck opposition players in.
