If you blokes dont win by 100+ points against a depleted WCER side there should be an inquiry.

Talking with old mate on the telephone wire, and West Perth currently parked on 1/20. With odds like that, the only talking point becomes the winning margin. In the highly unlikely event of the Falcons losing today, the other "team" had better be sent away for mandatory testing!

The scores today were an absolute disgrace and an indictment on the attitude taken by the WAFC.  This cannot go on, it’s ruining what little reputation the WAFL has left.

Of course the difference between the high scoring of the 80s as opposed to todays lop sided event was the quality of the competition and the players. When you think that the Subiaco team of 1979 that had 40 goals scored against them against Swans had players of the calibre of Gary Buckenara, Neil Taylor, Neil Randall and Phil Lamb. What did West Coast WAFL have today? A collection of AFL fringe players, WAFL reserves and Amateurs cobbled together. They had no hope. Every time I think the WAFL can go no further down the drain they find a deeper drain.

I think Adam Campbell was the last WP Player to kick ten goals, there was Troy Wilson also.

Dead right with those stats on Campbell and Wilson Winger. It was a good day at the office yesterday for the boys but the strange thing is I think there is room for improvement on that display. Can't really draw a line on how we are going when you look at the opposition we were facing.Yes everyone will say - you won by 169 points what are you bitching about!True but a couple of the guys still haven't  hit their straps so next week will be a better test against a desperate Swans.

I remember someone posting once an idea that I believe has some merit. The idea was for the WC and Freo reserves to field their teams in the WAFL Reserves comp rather than the league. The AFL teams get to keep their players together playing in match conditions without compromising the integrity of the the WAFL league competition. I know this won’t happen but I still believe the idea has some merit. Whilst I’m very happy for Falcons fans with their result yesterday, I also agree that this should not be happening in the state’s premier competition.
