Will be a gripping affair this Saturday, a win to either side will likely stitch up a spot in the 4. Outs for us are Munns, King and Yukich, Ins Johns (Debut), Delaporte and Rotham. I usually talk us down but I have nothing to talk down as we have been improving week on week and have a nice evenly balanced group. Perth will be keen to continue breaking more hoodoos not to mention the fact they are undefeated and will go in Favourites for mine.

Leedy, just for one week why can't the outs be Black, Nelson and any of Manzone/Keitel/Lourey?

Is Meadows going to line up?

:) :) :) I spoke with Meadows briefly after the game, he said he was fine, just a precaution, he left the field and showered up just after 1/2 time.

It is quite astounding that year after year (and this year is a classic example) the punters, radio commentators and print news don't rate us. We are playing some really relentless footy and improving game by game but the majority is talking Perth and even East Perth to sneak into the 4 ahead of us. We are effectively 3 games ahead of the Ferals and of course this Saturday will go a long way deciding the make up of the final 4.

I love it when this happens :)

Agreed, Leedy, unfortunately. Perth's form has been average at best, and we are paying for that in terms of a poor percentage. That may come back to bite us if we have the same number of wins as S or WP. Anyway, as you say, tomorrow will tell the tale. If you guys win, you are all but guaranteed of finals. My view remains that sheer weight of possession will be comfortably enough to get WP over the line, and our out of form backline will struggle to contain Keitel, Loury and Knott.

problem with wafl is that teams playing lists change drastically each year and even scratch games are not always a good guide.west perth have done well considering a few retirements over the last couple of years and not being able to recruit due to financial restrictions.as for east perth we lost a few from last year and even tho we recruited exstensively we lost kyle anderson (a big loss),sharrad wellingham and stan wright just before the start of the season.as for perth i think they have been over rated.they have benefitted from the eagles not having a wafl side but also lost jones and leggett.i expect west perth to beat perth.only way i see perth making the four is if subi can't overcome their injury crisis.

Spot on Chaddy, the expectancy is that $ubi will come good and occupy one of the 4 spots, maybe, just maybe $ubi might not come good. Highly unlikely I know :(

Leedy to do that we need to win the next 4 before we play you guys up at Joondy in the last H & A game which could be an "elimination" final for both clubs.

Your top of the ladder colts team is absolutely smashing my team who sit 4th on the ladder. Your colts have always been strong since you moved to Joondalup. It is no coincidence your league squad is consistently strong. I think you have the highest number of 100 game players in the comp on a consistent basis. If not then right up there.

I’d say Perth has the lowest, probably even less than Peel.

Cardinals do it again - didn't think there would be a wide margin
