Geez you say some stupid shit sometimes. Since our last flag we have played in 2 x GFs, 2 x Preliminary Finals and umpteen other Finals appearances, all I might add punching above our weight division, Perth none of the above !!!

Oh God yeah would take your record any day (on field) but underrating you is cool coz you rarely win when it matters.

And ps re cliches do you mean punching above your weight or spending others people’s money. You know with going bankrupt and everything.

Have a look at our line up, 90%local products, recruited next to no one and still winning :)

Exactly, yet you still call yourselves West a Perth. Grow up and start showing respect for the zone you represent. You’ve got the best junior zone in the comp.

Give me strength Grump :(

The game was good quality from the first bounce, as our mate already explained we kicked 2 in 5 minutes then Perth got 5 unanswered goals. 2nd qtr was outstanding by our boys, Meadows lead the charge and finished off by Keitel who kicked 4 in 10 minutes. The Southern end had contributed 12 of the 15 goals to this point. 3rd qtr was fairly even in general play but Perth I think won it by a few points kicking with it. The last qtr Perth started with intensity and eventually found themselves level pegged with us, I agree the Stubbs mark should have been paid but essentially he didn't hang on to it long enough in the maggots eyes. We then kicked a couple of quick goals followed by a Final goal to McDonald. Umpiring was crap but I saw a number free kicks not given to us that were obvious as dogs nuts, 6 of one, half dozen the other. Blacky in and under more than any of the Perth players so deserves the odd free kick.

There were 2 x telling non decisions that astounded all around me that directly lead to Perth goals, one in particular sent Delaporte off the ground to be assessed but later returned, there was no mention of that by ole mate.

That’s not like you to pull a whinge like that DD? Thought you might have taken it on the chin.

58s I came away from yesterday’s game feeling satisfied with our performance knowing a few skill errors cost us along with some absolutely shit umpiring. What I won’t cop is a bunch of absolutely ignorant wanker supporters, women included who plonk their ass right in front of the Perth members supporters area . If it wasn’t already bloody obvious with whole wall painted red with Perth Demons painted on it right in front of the presidents lounge, there is now a chained off area marking a clear boundary that defines where opposition supporters must be outside of and two signs clearly saying Perth members and supporters area only.

You have got to be a total disrespectful bunch of wankers to ignore that and plonk your ass there anyway which to me goes to show the level of arrogance and total lack of respect these wankers have for our club.

And it starts at the top. Even their president was cheering his team on sitting in our presidents lounge. I just cannot imagine our President Bob Shields doing that. Looney here can carry on all he likes with his gloating and personal attacks, none of which paints him or any of their supporters in a favourable light.

It’s a shame because it was probably the game of the season.

DD,

I reckon there is a fair chance our President may have been invited to sit in the lounge area, much like all other WAFL club Presidents do at all away grounds, its a Corporate thing :)

Perth are my next favourite WAFL club, heaps of respect, my Cousin played 99 games with the Dees.

Can guarantee mate, whatever the circumstance, not one person at Lathlain will ever barrack for EF.

Wouldn’t have it any other way my friend!!!!!

With games against Joondalup, Claremont and Subi coming it is not like improbable East Freo wins would help the Mineral Resources cause in anyway!

Not doubting that he and others would have been invited guests and enjoyed a nice lunch and beverages. My point was I can't imagine Bob Shields shouting out come on Perth from an oppositions presidential area. Disrespectful.

I was invited by two WP members to sit in your members only area at Leederville in 1986. I remember that because we won that day, Brownie was coach, Rob Wiley had just returned from Richmond and a young Earl Spalding was emerging just like Logan McDonald was yesterday.

I was mindful where I was sitting and kept my celebrations in check. Must be just me, being respectful, in the minority these days.

Im happy to hear our President was supporting the boys, I don't believe he would have been going over the top, he is a pretty learned fella in behaviour in the community.

Leedy,I was close by to where your President was seated and overheard him on several occasions urging the Falcons on. I heard only very mild cheering.

As a Perth member I have no problem with that. In fact I would be very disappointed if our President, Bob Shields, does not cheer for our side when he is an invitee at another club. Mutual respect IMO.

Smokey is entitled to his difference of opinion though maybe he should share his thoughts on those disrespectful wankers who graced the Perth supporter and members area. Great to see you have moved on Freezin from your sooking from last week.
