As I understand it there is a full review of the football department already under way and that should mean all coaches and players and other key personnel are under the spotlight.
Expectations should be that a lot of changes across the board will result.

It’s great to see Rob Wiley back involved at the club but can anyone tell me why he would have any pull or weight when it comes to recruiting? He must be in his early 60’s and most young players today wouldn’t have heard of him.

I don’t think it’s any coincidence some of our best recruiting came from a recently retired AFL footballer when Damian Gasper was appointed football manager in the early naughtiest. He managed to bring one if the greatest ever recruits to the club in Ross Young and I remember many other recruits followed.

I think we need some young blood in the position. Hopefully Wiley and Troy Cook are well connected in the east.

Good to see lots of great past players back supporting the Club and committed to ending the shit of the last 40 years.
I think the main goal for Robbie is to help identify the needs and the available talent.
There are other forces in place and relationships happening that will do the job of securing the player.
We have now identified the importance of a relationship with player managers and have shown them the future of the PFC.
This will go a long way to raising the Club's profile as a destination Club.
I trust these guys they appear to know how to go about the job.

I remember the pommy geezer telling me the club was setting up contacts all over the country not long after he arrived at the club. Where are the fruits from that big statement? I wonder after a conversation over the phone the "contacts" in the east thought, anyone know any good soccer players we can send to Perth Glory? This bloke Marty from Perth said he needs some players who are good in goals and running up and down the pitch.

Wiley is only one person and may well be more helpful than you think.
Pinning hopes on all the good people about to pitch in.
