Agree SS. There is no evidence that either Tropiano or Leggett want to join another WAFL club.
It is fanciful that these EF boys think that there is any chance of getting these two players.
And what is even more fanciful is that they believe a straight trade with 2 mediocre players that they do want would get the job done. Ha, laughable.
Only top dollar for both our players would do. But it ain't going to happen anyway.

It will be interesting to see where Delahunty will settle. Do the club intend to use him more as a ruckman who pushes forward or a forward who pinch hits in the ruck. From what I've read about him they say he's pretty mobile so I'm leaning towards him playing in the ruck more than he does forward, alternating with Dakota Baldwin-Wright.

Hopefully there's a key forward out there that's capable of kicking 40 goals or doing the grunt work. I've said it before but it would be great to have a player like Clancy Wheeler in his prime. Does all the grunt work for the other forwards to reap the rewards. If we have a player like that it allows Ninyette, Bennell and Roe to crumb the packs where they are more dangerous.

No MR AFL. I wish it was Lachlan but it is his cousin Keiran. I believe that he is mainly a forward who has an occasional run in the ruck.

Also there was an article I read a couple of weeks ago that said two midfielders were coming over to play in the WAFL next year. Does anyone remember their names?

Fraser and Frank both Northern Blue boys from memory....perhaps Wiley may have a connection from his Carlton days.....

Both boys are draft prospects. Plenty of draft opportunities to come...pre season, rookie etc.

Spot on SS, unfortunately max is 15k but should be a lot more when you’re talking about a Sandover medalist and premiership player in a tier 1 state comp.
Not sure what we paid for Trops initially but wouldn’t have been anymore than 5 - 7k I reckon. And add to that NA f&b this year and probably won 1 or 2 Butcher medals at the Demons.

Do we know for sure that players automatically revert back to their old club if they return to the WAFL? I had a look at the WAFC rules and regs and can't see where it says that. Maybe I missed it but you'd think that once a player has been cleared to an interstate club then all bets are off if they return at a later date.

They do BC and your club will be getting 15k I’d say if Zac Clarke signs with another WAFL club. Have you put him on your list?
