BJ had some real solid league form and stats toward end of last year and should come in now. He takes a mark. Sammy at FF, BJ at CHF. Guy Langdon rucking and resting and Magic chipping in as he pleases with marking or sharking. Payne has to come in, Cary and Dennis to go out.

My guess would be a swap Smith out and Payne on to the wing in his place.
One of Cary and Dennis to go out next week when Ninyette returns.

I like the idea of Johnson and Garstone as the permanent forwards with Langdon pinch hitting in the ruck.

According to WAFL website, Hansen and Hill are in the starting line up. Payne is part of an extended bench, along with Garstone, Leggett, Taylor, Thompson, Roe and Nicholas. Of those 7, it goes without saying that Leggett and Taylor are in the 22, so for me it's between Garstone, Payne and Nicholas. Usually the line up on Thursday night bears little resemblance to how we line up on game day, but it has Langdon at FF and Sinclair at CHF, with Hill taking Sinker's spot at CHB. Maybe the plan is to have Garstone helping out in the ruck off the bench.

It could be Garstone to Ressies because they have named Langdon at Full Forward for the first time this season.

Given EF's height with Griffen, Strnadica and Loersch I think Garstone will be required. he won't play down back but he will be required up forward and in the ruck. The only one who can possibly replace him is Blake Johnson who isn't named.

Pretty sure this is the best way to interpret the wafl team selection website based on previous experience. But don’t understand why it’d all so confusing, every week you have to nut it out.
