The reason - he will be a well paid water boy at home games that don't clash with EP.
It's a disgrace.
And the Club won't be strong enough to say no.

You know I could never understand that compensation pick for Keitel, all clubs lose players to other WAFL clubs both young and old and never get a compensation pick, if that was the case we should be owed about 50!
I feel for the Demons but think he is one of those players who will drop off once out of the AFL spot light..

They were allowed a compensation pick to recruit a player from outside their zone or something like that.

They get 6-10 free recruits every year courtesy of the AFL and they are the best juniors in the country.

We should at least get the capacity to recruit a 12 point player with the salary outside the salary cap.

I'm not sure Smokey. When an AFL player gets delisted don't they automatically revert back to their club of origin? If this is correct wouldn't a transfer fee be in place?

As I said because East Perth were allowed to recruit one extra player from outside of their zone as compensation for loosing Keitel which they have decided to use on Wellingham, I am not sure if this affects any compensation claims that we could or couldn't make.

Apparently sundowners are starting this Thursday in the Presidents Lounge from 4pm. For those that are interested it might be a chance for you to go down, have a look at training and maybe try to get some answers as to how the team is shaping for 2018.
