Wellingham and Tunbridge must be top priorities but there is so much more than that which has to be done.
Sadly we are hearing nothing from HO and pre-season begins in just a few weeks. Just a little news would be good even if it is just the bad news that we fear. Five or more player losses to be replaced before we even begin to look forward to season 2018.
Not looking pretty from where I am seeing it.

Yep Smokey you are right. Add Matty Taylor to that list as well and it would be a good start. But a start is all it is and as you say still a lot of work to be done.

Matt Taylor would be huge to get back. Cody Leggett is another player who will make a difference coming back from injury and Belly if he recovers. Still, only takes us a few small steps forward. Half a dozen top liners needed or we'll be further adrift of the rest of the comp again.

Correct Mr AFL, Mat Taylor will also be a top priority assuming he is back in WA. Cody Leggett and Belly coming off injuries hopefully will fit straight back into the team.
Dazz, whilst I agree that half a dozen top liners are needed, I am not certain that is achievable in the short term.
I hope that I am wrong. This WAFC review is dragging on. I am starting to think that there will not be much joy in it for the club and without some significant assistance that I have previously alluded to the rise from the depths looks impossible.

If Wellingham doesn’t get picked up, worth going after?

No brainer....absolute priority to get him back to Lathlain but I suspect that he will get another AFL gig.
If not, a better resourced WAFL club will be all over him so we will have to be "on the ball"

Over the last couple of years have seen Wellingham & Mayne at a number of home games so would assume there is still some loyalty in both of them so in saying this hopefully there has been conversations and loyalty reigns.

LT97, in fairness the club does remain in close contact with all it's AFL listed players.
In a free market environment loyalty can be evaporated somewhat. Delisted players are fair game and do receive attractive offers from many sources.
Bearing in mind that when delisted, players are coming off fairly lucrative incomes so that money, job offers, as well as playing with former AFL team mates and the prospects of winning a flag take over from loyalty.
For a club like PFC with limited resources and a record of mediocre to poor performance over a long period of time it is harder to bring them home. Loyalty is not always the key in the real world.
We just have to keep trying and try harder. It can be done. Steve Armstrong, Troy Cook and Chance Bateman came home and Tendai Mzungu had very good intentions of returning before he received good offers to remain in the AFL system that would help secure his future post playing career.

Does anyone know who he is talking about with the fresh faces and new recruits?
