Why not approach Zac Clarke? Established already in Perth. I know he's probably hopeful of getting a lifeline at another AFL club but I'd say that's doubtful. Get into Tendai's ear who now has a development role of some sort at Fremantle.

So you would think that we would of heard of at least one signing by now if they are back on the track this week and I don't mean a ressies player from another club or a player from the amateurs.

We surely aren't putting all our recruiting eggs in one basket and only looking at players not drafted?

One would have thought so 30 plus. East Fremantle has already recruited three players. West Perth have been linked to a trio of players, Claremont have signed former Saint Tom Curren while Subiaco has picked up Ben Newton.

Sadly it would appear so Custy. Another of our home grown AFL players not to return to the club.
In fairness, he was drafted from relative obscurity in our colts side and has forged a very good AFL career including a premiership. I would suggest that he may not have the same sense of loyalty to PFC as others have in the past and his affiliation with EP through the WCE alignment may have had some impact on his decision.
Having said that, I wouldn't mind a few bob on his chances of yet being rookie listed by the Eagles.

I agree Smokey he may get picked up or rookie list at WC but I don't agree with your reasoning as to why he wouldn't sign with us.
His junior footy would have be in our zone and any combined footy he played would have been in the red and black and he was with the club when he got drafted.
Nup I put it down to where we are at as a club,he'd probably looked at where we were when he got drafted and where we are now years later,no change still down the bottom of the ladder with more doom to come.

Who wants to go to a club who always finishes down the bottom, Muzungu another one coming back from GWS wouldn't of thought twice about coming back to Perth.

Let's not use the excuse of saying better offers, there's nothing attractive about playing at Perth.

Can't disagree 30+. Where we are as a club is certainly a major factor but I still think that he would not have the same sense of loyalty as, say, Tendai or Cookie or Armstrong had.
And his affiliation with EP would have been a very strong factor in his decision.
