INJURIES - PERTH: Bateman (hamstring); Donovan (soreness) replaced in the side by Ashley Smith. SWAN DISTRICTS:Neale (thigh), Roach (knee).

Donovan played reserves due to general soreness.. hope Batemans hammy is ok.

GREAT WIN BOYS!!!!

Gees Jonno and BTB you must have both hated that.
Victorians still laugh at West Aussies because of the way we bailed out the vfl and then allowed it to be called it the AFL!

That was Graham Jetta  it was calamity cops out there again today with Lance Daly not getting his foot to the ball while running into an open goal in the last!
Dont forget Swans also had a goal taken off us for a bewildering free kick in the goal square in the last qtr as well & then before the 2 50m penalties in the last minute there was the non holding the ball decision against no23 for Perth as he was running out of defence.. but good luck to you blokes i say take it & run while it lasts!

Beasley the free in the goal square was a clear push in the back to the Perth player and dont forget Paul Bevan also ran into an open goal and missed and we had a player by himself in the square where a handball over the top and it was a certainty.

Perth should have iced the game just before half time when we missed 2 sitters the lead could have been 7 goals at the long break.

No point arguing with these boys 30plus. Swans NEVER lose a game, it's always taken off them by the umps. :pinch:

Well done to the Ressies as well.

However both teams asleep for long periods today. Must improve on this.

Chance has done a hammy 3-4 weeks. Replacement Julian Jacobs or Richardson or Manuel.

Ranstead may need a run in the Ressies. Replacement - Houghton or Johnston (who I still no nothing about).

Ash Smith will be with us another week, but did look interested today though and kicked a nice goal after a good mark, seemed genuinely excited about it. Droped a sitter in the last that resulted in a goal.

Florio should retain his position but is running out of chances. I feel he needs to go in a bit harder and run a lot faster.

Love Eyers attack on the ball and he seems as tough as nails. Thought Leyendekkers did very well and is starting to time his marks well. Murray did not set the world on fire in the ressies. I do admit that the tall Swan had a great marking capacity in the last quarter and a half though.

McInnes Very Good taday as i said he was due for.

Stack impressive, had glue on his hands.

Back line solid excepting Ranstead as mentioned.

Midfield good. The much maligned Whitey going well. Congrats to him. Sulli, hodge, and Ali Smith excellent.

First win in 9 years at basso that in itself was an achievement!

I listened to the game on 720 and the missus thought I had hurt myself in the shed when eyres kicked the last.

After the siren the commentators said the Perth coaches box was going nuts. You could here them through the broadcast!

Great win Dees played the better footy today and deserved the win!

We won at Basso in 2009 on a windy day from my memory. I wasn't there but it was televised.
