I agree, cannot remember a worse quarter or half for that matter in the last 10 years at least. EF looked almost down and out at half time, credit to Wiley for getting them up big time in the third quarter but we were disgraceful. To make it worse was the number of key players EF had out injured.

I do recall a game at Fremantle Oval a few years back.
50 pts up at 3/4 time and lost to SF.
Neon Leon was playing in the game.

Has been no mention on here but have heard that Julian Jacobs has retired.
Not a super star but Jules was a very valuable player for the club and will be missed.
Seems a bit of movement at the station though the word hasn't yet got around ??

The thing is - and no excuses here at all - if you haven't won for a while and you get a sniff you can become like the incredible hulk and no-one can stop you. That is what happened to us. All we can do is hang in there, keep getting games into younger players, somehow convince the good ones to hang around and recruit a bit. The other option is to go out with the cheque book like Swans do now and again and get some cheap thrills for a few weeks then bye bye.
