TOPIC:

Looking at the fixtures this morning I think that Perth have done pretty well. The longest we go without a home game is three weeks (excluding the general bye for the State Game) and it seems that we have as close to as possible the home, away, home, away format that everyone likes.

Short straw getting the bye in round one though, virtually renders the bye useless for you. We get round two which isn't much better. Subi get the ideal bye in the last round again.

Come on TOO, you have to look after Subi, they'd sook if they weren't.

Got to give them some advantage over everybody else.

Looks as if all the teams have 10 Home games.

Advantage or disadvantage?? If we finish on top we will have 2 byes in row going into the 2nd semi & if we win that then that's one game of footy in a month going into the gf...

I think that you will find Perth have two country games...one a home fixture at Northam and the other an away fixture v Souths.
Bummer.. no club should play in the country more than once a season.

Was unaware of country fixtures being pencilled in because I saw no mention of it looking at the schedule.
Country games are great IMO because it gives us country people a chance to see a great Wafl match , instead of watching the crappy commercial telecasts!
