I see Billings is not on our list anymore. Has he been disqualified by the league or have we moved him on. Or has he pulled the pin.

His playing licences was cancelled by the wafl last year. Never play footy again.

No confirmation of a signing. Hope that is a good sign that we wont waste 10 points.
Papertalk is still listed as a West Perth player on 10 points which would carryover to us if he comes to Lathlain.

I guess it had to happen given the number of tribunal appearances and suspensions.
It is sad though. A solid player who was often asked to play out of his weight division. Played it hard but often somewhat reckless. A very good club man.
Maligned by umpires IMO. Not many players would get a visit in the changerooms before a game from the umpires warning him that they were watching him and would not hesitate to report him if he stepped out of line.

umpires were watching him for very good reason smokey. i paid particular attention to what he did in one of the last games he played against Subi at leederville and he took out 2 players...one with his head over the ball for which he got rubbed out and another behind play which wasn't spotted by the umps. at 3 qtr time in that game Schofield made particular mention to the Subi players to remain focussed on the ball and ignore Billings. general opinion around the comp was that he was a grub of the highest order and I think Dee supporters are in denial if they think differently. what made it worse was the fact a lot of it wasn't face to face...it was either when his opponent wasn't expecting it or was totally uncalled for. Perth and the WAFL in general are better off without him.

I know this time of the year is pretty quite but as anyone heard anything?
