In addition to the signing of Angus Graham the club has also secured former player Julian Jacobs.

Andrew Ruck will coach the colts and Trevor Williams has a new role as Director of Coaching Colts and Development.

Kade Lang and Chance Bateman will be league assistants and Andrew Panetta will continue as Reserves Coach.

So basically no change in the coaching ranks at all.
No new blood.

Julian Jacobs I hope is not seen as recruiting.
Nice to have him back but he is a depth player, been away from WAFL for 2-3 years.
At least 2 KPPs and a quality midfielder must still be priorities.

Yes good to have him back and will be interesting to see how he goes. Does he play midfield or does he play as a tight marking small backman. He occasionally played the latter role while at the club. Best of luck to him anyway. Has been competing in elite cycling for the last 18 months so should be reasonably fit you would assume and played with Northam Federals this year helping them win their first flag in over a decade.

A key forward, key backman and a midfielder who uses the ball well and can break the lines is now what is required. Hopefully can get all three of them positions filled.

Yes I liked Julian, but he was only just a good player, no star.
If he can capture some form he will be handy to have around.
Yes his fitness was never an issue was always fit.
He may see the benefit of a full preseason under the new regime.

He did come third in one of our best and fairest so I think he is a bit better than average.

Still plenty of work to do on the recruiting front though.

I'm with DF on Jacobs.
He's ok at best.

Hopefully not counted as a recruit that fills our needs but moreso a depth player.

Better Jacobs coming back than Ransted.
I think I have a good feeling about the off season.
I think we will see some more good news.
And I think we will get some things we really need.
Particularly a tall forward.

Its a bit different now boys, you have a coach that has contacts and he will no doubt exhaust all avenues I reckon. Jacobs is a good get regardless, depth is what brings consistency.

But we have had Coaches before that have identified the same weaknesses we've had for years.
Board has never allowed us to do what we need to do.
Jarman was crucified then we spent money on friggin McMahon.
