Firstly I was rapt when they announced Reimers was coming to Perth. Unfortunately I honestly feel he played 2's on Saturday as a message from the club that his 'attitude' whatever it is must be team orientated and maybe he is not promoting the values this early that the club expects. This is purely speculation but I have taken a keen interest in watching him around the club this year. We seen it with Davis last year and the club is all over it this year particularly with the imports!
The club imo is prepared to sacrifice having a great player on the field for continuing their 2013 values which are all about team unity and team sacrifice!
If he gets that message he will be a very welcome and loved addition to the pfc.........if hes not then he can probably play footy at railways with Davis!

For a little fella he kicks it a mile! The shot in the last quarter that hit the post half up was from 55 out.

...talking about Reimers why would the senior coach make these comments before Reimers has even fronted the tribunal??

Perth coach Damien McMahon said he had been disappointed with the way Reimers had acted.

"It was an undisciplined act," McMahon said.

"He's an experienced player and knows better than that.



I would have thought a defence of "it was a swing of the arm around his body that made contact,reaction to the late charge on him by the Peel player" but obviously we are going in to plead guilty??

Those comments made by the coach before the case is heard is baffling.
He may be guilty but should the coach be making such comments before the hearing?
Make them afterwards if found guilty but not beforehand.

Couldn't agree more 30+. I just read those comments in the paper and nearly choked!! Whatever happened to one of the fundamental principles our democracy "innocent until proven guilty". The fact that Brown also got reported may help mitigate Reimers reaction, but unfortunately retaliation is not a defense. I find it an incredibly baffling thing for a coach to come out and say before it has gone to the tribunal.
If we loose Reimers and still no Tunbridge for a few weeks any comments about the South Freo game being in the bag would be way off the mark.
